I had this HardHat for a few years and used it from everything from watersports to snowboarding, even when riding my longboard. It held up great and didnt have any issues until I lost it one day at the mountain. I then purcheased a Smith Holt Helmet as a band-aid solution and hated it, so I knew i had to get a Bern Watts again. Its a comfortable helemet. The only gripes I have are that the liner makes the helmet fit very snugly, but without the liner it is a little loose so be aware of this when ordering for size. IF you are only going to use it with a liner order a size up

Great stylish helmet! Just received it and 2 days earlier than expected and you just can't beat that price! I found that placing goggles on top of your helmet can be a little bit difficult because of the visor, but it is manageable. Also, it has a top liner inside the helmet that limits air to flow into your helmet on those cold windy days. No longer do I have a space bubble on my head. 4/5

I've used a Bern for the past few seasons and really appreciate the low profile styling and fit. It's a helmet that for me never is "perfect" out of the box but ends up fitting really well, especially as I get a few days of riding in with it. I wear a helmet 99% of the time.

Fit is snug but comfortable. Remember a loose helmet won't provide any protection. The ear warmer liner is nice. I don't have to squeeze a hat on underneath. There is a simple piece of foam that plugs the vent holes when you need a little extra warmth. Easily can be pulled out and fit in pocket when needed.

This is my first helmet purchase. I figured what the heck for under $50. The helmet is very comfortable and warm. The liner is soft. The chin strap is also comfortable. There is a removable vent cover for colder or rainy days, which covers the vents on top of the helmet. The venting is good with no fogging issues. About the only negative was, I don't like you cant micro adjust as with other brands. I do however really like the styling of this helmet compared to others. I thought setting the goggles up on brim of helmet was going to be a problem and my goggles stayed there no issues.

Overall I really liked the helmet and will probably wear it all the time now.

Bern makes a great lid. It's light, comfortable and easily adjustable. I have nothing bad to say about my Watts, it even arrived sooner than I expected!

I like this product, but I don't like the ventilation on the inside of the helmet at the top. If it snows, your head will get really wet. Except for that minor set back, this is a great helmet for the price.

This is the second Bern helmet that I bought from evo (this one is a present for my brother). The first one head embedded headphones, this one doesn't but still has the same good quality and price.

I have tried a number of different helmets, and they always seemed bulky and uncomfortable. This is the first helmet I have ever worn that did not feel like I had a helmet on. I love it. Comfortable, funtional, and stylish.

Great helmet really warm, my size was in the middle of med and large, definetly go with the large, I tried a med on in the store and it didn't even fit on my head, go a size up if its even close.

This helment is cheap and basic (but looks good - if you like this boxy style).

I bought it for my girlfriend and it didn't take long for it to have paid for itself. First time out with it, she took a stack and hit the back of her head hard. She thinks if it weren't for the helmet she'd have been knocked out. Instead, she was fine... So it proved to be great gift!

I bought this helmet for a snowboarding trip to CO and it was pretty good. Very lightweight and comfortable, although the large seemed a bit snug with the liner attached. The helmet was extremely warm but the liner irritated the back of my neck. This may have had something to do with the overall sizing. Either way this is a great helmet at a great price. I didn't take any big diggers but I'm sure it would have protected me nicely.

I sent this back. When I received it, the literature had a warning that this is NOT a helmet, but is only a hard hat and is NOT certified to the usual protection certifications. This should be in bold type on the website - not in the fine print. Also, a separate section for hardhats (not under helmets) would be a good idea. Evo was good about paying the return shipping and I bought another true helmet that offers the protection I want in a HELMET.

I never used to wear a helmet while snowboarding and getting into a terrain park environment. Well, it took one time to eat it and get my bell rung to decide I wanted a helmet. I fooled around with different helmets but they were all kinda heavy and bulky and uncomfortable. I did some research and this helmet kept popping up as one of the best. I couldnt agree more in how awesome this helmet is. Not only is it super low profile, it has an awesome look, its super light weight, very well ventilated, and honestly it feels like your wearing a beanie. I have ZERO complaints. It also fitted my dome without any adjustment. This helmet is awesome.

I use this as my snowboarding helmet and I have no camplaints. I like the way it looks and it kept my head surprisingly comfortable in most temperatures. My only critique is that the visor ever so slightly got in the way of my goggles from time to time. I would have to make periodic adjustments to both so that my nose wasn't pinched by my goggles. This wasn't too bothersome and it could be due to the shape of my goggles but definitely something that could have been aleviated by a slight design adjustment

Paid around $50 for the hardhat. Wear it every time I go out to the hill. Definitely gives a sense of security, so you can focus more on the trick you are doing vs. protecting your head if you fall. Already took a hard slam to the head and the helmet held up nice. Would definitely buy another one.

Nice helmet, similar in weight to my first two helmets but heavier than my RED Theory. Fit is excellent, Large fits perfectly thanks to hard hat foam, Large in the EPS did not fit, would have needed an XL for EPS. Comfortable, warm, Oakley goggles work well with this helmet.

Great all around helmet minus a few things. Earflaps make wearing a hat underneath a little akward but do-able if adjusted right. Only thing I was really disappointed in was it said it had headphone drop in capability but on the helmet flaps there is absolutely no where to do so. Other than that its a stylish, funtional helmet.

Thing fits good. Not too bulky. Feels light and solid at the same time. Also, Bern has one of the few sizings that fit a 58cm perfectly.

I'm a novice snowboarder, and this helmet totally protected me from the evil icy slopes this season. Also, when you're not used to wearing gear like this, it can be awkward at first...but this felt comfortable and natural in no time at all. Me and my skull are really glad I bought this one.
