Bern Muse Hard Hat - Women's 2010: Designed as a female-specific version of the Baker, the Bern Muse features a functional visor design and crazy-advanced soft foam design for the ultimate in head protection. Swappable snap-in liners keep you covered no matter what season it is, while a low-profile design makes sure you look as cool as you are safe.

  • Material:Hard Hat: Burly ABS high-impact shell with soft breathable multi-impact Brock foam that circulates air through the foam and out of the lid. It sucks moisture away keeping you cool and dry. Soft, multiple impact Brock foam is lighter and more comfortable than hard foam helmets (but does not meet the standards for action sport head protection).
  • Features:The Clip: Snap-in clip system for cold and warm weather liner integration // Twin goggle clips allow a custom fit

        Ended up returning because of the such poor fit, even after measuring my head and following the manufacturer's size chart. Also, I did not care for the "liner" with the ear covers, It was basically a circle around the inside of the helmet, like a sweat band with ear flaps, was disappointed that it wasn't removable because of the poor design of it.

            I took a few bad falls last snowboarding season and realized it was time to protect myself. I knew I wanted a Bern helmet because I wanted something stylish and different. I love the design and the fit is great, I was nervous to buy a large thinking it would be huge but it fits true to size! I can't wait to test it on the mountain :-)

            Cool, stylish, low profile helmet.

            Note that it has a soft rubber lining which ( according to a warning label on the helmet) is not as safe as a rigid styrofoam lining.

            This probably only an issue in case of a major trauma ( like crashing into a tree at some speed), where an astm rated helmet would absorb the energy by
            breaking apart. According to the warning label, this helmet does not do that.
