Bern Macon Hard Hat: Protect your money maker by getting the Bern Macon Hard Hat. Hard Hat construction with patented Brock® foam circulates air through the foam and out of the lid while also absorbing moisture from your skin to keep you feeling fly and dry.

Goggle Compatibility
Works well with goggles; can be worn underneath helmet or over helmet. Has a back clip to secure the goggle strap. Goggle clip can be removed.
Adjustability
Adjustable chin straps
Compatible with visor or earpad additions
Removable snap-in liner makes this helmet good in any season.
Additional Features
Hard Hat: burly ABS high-impact shell with soft breathable multi-impact Brock® foam that circulates air through the foam and out of the lid. It sucks moisture away keeping you cool and dry. Soft, multiple impact Brock® foam is lighter and more comfortable than hard foam helmets.
Hard Hats are designed to protect against multiple lower force impacts but do not meet the standard for action sport head protection.
Summer Visor and Summer Liner available separately

          I have never owned a helmet before, and honestly, I know how to fall. I have skied for many years, and this is my second full season on a snowboard. I will never ski again. I am so much more comfortable with my attempts to hit features and get off the ground on a board compared to my skis. So, considering my desired progression of ability, I figured I would get a helmet, and other than looking completely boss as a [*], if my memory serves me correctly, I took my first head shot this past Tuesday (Jan 31). There are warmer than usual climates in the North East, and I was hammering down a diamond slope, but there were some really sticky patches considering the warm weather. So, amidst my hammering I came upon said sticky patch, and wasn't ready for it, and I went down hard on my back and drilled the back of my head into the ground. I have a tremendous threshold for pain, but I was def concerned about being concussed. I shook it off, and went up for a few more runs. I'm happy to say that there were no ill affects to my head at all. I feel great. I just wondered to myself what that would have felt like without the helmet.

            Sits a little to far down on my forehead so puts some pressure on my googles & nose. A little too much ventilation for a really cold day so wear a layer underneath the helmet.
