Smith Phenom Turbo Fan Goggles: Fog stands no chance when you have the Smith Phenom Fan Goggles. Built with two-speed Micro-Electronic Turbo Fan technology into the ever-stylish Phenom, the best of both worlds is now at your fingertips. The Phenom Turbo Fan is technology and style at their finest.
Shape
Medium Fit
Articulating Outrigger Positioning System that evenly transfers pressure across the brow and nose to ensure a complete seal against the face, and when used with a helmet, the outrigger articulates allowing the goggle frame to sink into the helmet face port for a comfortable and consistent fit.
Lens Tech
Spherical, Carbonic-X Lens with TLT (Tapered Lens Technology) Optics allows distortion free rays and perfect vision through the goggle lens
The inner lens is impregnated with Smith’s Fog-X treatment for increased anti-fog performance
Interchangeable Hop-Up Kits
Ventilation
Two-Speed, Micro-Electronic Fan allows for maximum ventilation
Smith’s Patented Vaporator Lens Technology means the lenses are robotically cut and bonded together with an airtight silicone bead to eliminate lens delamination (the number one cause of between-the-lens fogging). The micro-porous Porex™ filter completes the system: the world’s strongest thermal lens barrier, this filter is structured so air molecules may pass through while water molecules can’t, making it easily able to adjust to varying altitudes.
Strap
Ultra-Wide, Silicone Backed Strap
QuickFit Strap Adjustment System with Clip Buckle
Materials
The dual layer DriWix face foam is ultra-lush and a perfect fit. The compression-molded face foams seal out the wind and moisture for maximum comfort and performance.

Comments about Smith Phenom Turbo Fan Goggles:

I have a beat up older 2-battery version. I was amped to get these. At Vail on a deep pow day, even with fan cranking, no-fog on my glasses, i couldn't see [*] because they fogged up so bad. The new single-battery design fan does not move air at all - not enough rpm, I guess. I took off my glasses and basically skiied blind (kinda fun, actually,,) I'm now back to my duct-taped older 2-battery Smiths.

Work well for eye glasses wearers

        • Snowboarding

Comments about Smith Phenom Turbo Fan Goggles:

These can fog up if you are exerting yourself for an extened period of time. I wear eyeglasses underneath these goggles for snowboarding. These keep the powder off of my glasses. This is the first set of goggles I have used, so I can not compare to others. I can not comment on their durability. I only used them for one week. Keep the fan running at high speed all day for best results. They have a large buckle in the back, so it may be difficult to use with a helmet. They have a very wide band.
