Smith I/OS Goggles – The epitome of style and function, the fluid lines and revolutionary outrigger locking mechanism of the Smith I/OS Goggles key off the successes of the I/O Goggles to bring effective rimless interchangeability to an even broader audience.
Shape
The Smith I/OS Goggles have a small/medium fit and fit smaller than the Smith I/O Goggles.
Lens Tech
The Carbonic-X spherical outer lens is individually molded to offer optimum scratch and impact resistance, increased visual acuity and enhanced contrast sensitivity, while the inner lens is impregnated with Smith’s Fog-X treatment for increased anti-fog performance, and 100% visual accuracy thanks to TLT (Tapered Lens Technology) optics. These goggles also come with two performance mirror lenses that, like all Smith lenses, provide 100% protection from UV rays.
Ventilation
Smith’s patented Vaporator lens technology means the lenses are robotically cut and bonded together with an airtight silicone bead to eliminate lens delamination (the number one cause of between-the-lens fogging). The micro-porous Porex™ filter completes the system: the world’s strongest thermal lens barrier, this filter is structured so air molecules may pass through while water molecules can’t, making it easily able to adjust to varying altitudes.
Strap
The Smith I/O Goggles feature an ultra-wide, silicon backed strap with a QuickFit Strap Adjustment system complete with a clip buckle.
Materials
The dual layer DriWix face foam is ultra-lush and a perfect fit. The compression-molded face foams seal out the wind and moisture for maximum comfort and performance.

      Comments about Smith I/OS Goggles:

I just spent a week in Park City with these and they are the best I've used. Switching lenses was easy enough I could do it on the lift between runs. Mine came with a sun lens and low-light, which both worked really well. My eyes are pretty light sensitive, which means I'm usually in shades, but these goggles stood up to a sunny day at Snowbird without any trouble.

The don't fog up and they fit like a champ... the sticky strip inside the strap keeps them from sliding around on my helmet, a nice feature.

These fit my face nicely, and I love the extra lens included! Now when I ride at night I can see so much more clearly. Super easy to change out lenses too. I had a hard time finding goggles that work with my helmet, but these are the best so far.

        Comments about Smith I/OS Goggles:

The lens had a weird sheen and was blurry almost like a manufacturer's defect. the spare lens was fine but I basically had to trash the original. pretty lame for a higher end google.. Great google for ease of lens replacement but the lenses are poor quality.

Great pair of goggles. They are really cute and super awesome in the snow. There is no fogging up and eyes adjust really easy with the sun. They also come with extra lenses which is great.

            Comments about Smith I/OS Goggles:

I love the Smith I/OS. I used a pair of I/O's a few times last year and the smaller version fits my face so much better. I am also really stoked on the Red Sensor Mirror lens. It's the best low light/overcast/northwest lens I've found yet. I'd been using the Sensor Mirror, which is awesome, but the Red works even better for me.

Fog happens. It's just a fact of life. These only fog on me if I do something silly, like put them up on my forehead while hiking and getting sweaty. Otherwise I haven't had any issues. Especially not when I wear my helmet (the Smith Muse). They fit that really well too.
