these gloves were the single worst purchase i made this year. i live in canada and i was suggested these over a similarly priced burton pair of gloves (both were approx $95). i cant even wear these outside snowboarding at -5 celcius without my hands freezing. they're not even good for driving since there's too much grip in the palm, and none on the fingers. even with a pair of mittens under them, they simply can not handle any sort of cold weather. they're too breathable and i can feel cold air passing through them when i'm riding fast. they're only moderately waterproof, but if you sit with your hand on the snow for more than a few seconds, it leaks right through. its lacking all the major qualities of a snowboarding glovedo yourself a favor and stay the hell away from these gloves.(Rome's website rates these as an 8 warmth... whoever rated this is a [*] liar and this is a gross misrepresentation of their warmth)
