Comments about POW Royal Gloves:
I used the gloves the 2nd half of this season, and in OR we had a great late season! Tough to call it spring when Meadows had a season deep base = 162 on 4/28! As I said, I love these gloves. I love leather work gloves and thats about what these are, but with a fat velcro wrap. I would've given them 4.5 stars if we could use halves. I think 5s are given too easily. Few products are perfect. These are close though. Theyre really warm, great for the coldest days and work well for me other times cuz I dont wear my gloves on the chair, unless its super cold, giving my hands and gloves a chance to breath. If you want one glove for all season and only take em off inside...these may be too warm for you. All that could make them better (for me) is if they had a bit less insulation on the underside of the thumb and index finger to give better dexterity when you need to do things like grab a zipper or stretch you cuff out over the top. This will probably happen naturally as they get older. The other thing that I don't care about, but steeze only crowd will, is that after applying nix wax the gray leather became a scuzzy yellowish and I got it all over the nylon part too, but who gives a shh. These are warm, soft leather gloves for riding, shoveling, snowshoeing, just hanging outside in the winter ... you know, whatever
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The gloves were the best pair of ski gloves I have ever owned. Well made and durable. Though they do feel a bit too bulky for me.

Great gloves for warmer weather on the slopes. They have good grip so you can hold onto your grabs and the weather doesn't wear out. I own to pairs of these and they are great just don't wear them if it's colder then 25 degrees out.
Great gloves unless you fall alot!

Great gloves. Leather needs to be maintained and sprayed with waterproofer. Good dexterity. Great looking and comfortable. Good wrist protection

About Me Practical
These gloves fit well and are comfortable and I like the slimer profile charactersitic of a leather glove. I haven't worn these skiing below 30F yet, so i'm not sure if they will become my everyday glove or just for those moderate temp days.

Good pair of gloves for 30-40 degrees F. Lacks gore-tex which is a huge drawback. Not worth it's retail price. Wouldn't recommend spending more than $35 for these gloves as there are better gloves out there with gore-tex lining for around the same price. Will suit snowboarding and skiing needs!

I use this glove when I ski. It is awesome, its thick but easy to grip my poles. The leather is very waterproof and looks really good too. Most importantly my hands stay completely warm all day with no moisture inside at all. I highly recommend this glove for its price.

Nice gloves. Perfect Fit.

I use these gloves mainly for skiing. Good grip. Easy to put them in take them out. The hand strap comes in handy. Very warm. Snug fit. I didn't encounter any rain yet so I don't know how dry they would stay if it's wet. Good product so far.

Warm, look good, and great finger mobility. Lack of grip and durable feel, probably couldnt use for anything else besides skiing, keeping your hands warm.

I dont usually review an item before I put it to some use. But these gloves were put on just after arriving and they have a very comfortable feel to them from exterior down to the softness on the inside. A bit small in fit, I got a large, and they feel slightly like a medium. Not much room, but I guess, how warm these can get, you would have no other liner underneath. They have a very soft outer leather that I will be coating with protective lotion. Just initial impression has me impressed, Ill update after a few trips to the mountain.

Used these for skiing, work great from -15 to -25 but to warm and their wet, to cold and your hands are cold.
POW gloves continue to be awesome
Large size gloves fit great on an average size hand. They are warm as you could want, and low profile for a warm and waterproof glove. It's the first pair of pure leather gloves I've owned, and the shell seems to get wet easily, though it never makes it to the hands. I got the grays, and the wetness discolors them a little when they're damp, to the point where the wet spots look black. A fresh coat of Nikwax should take care of that, though. POW gloves have yet to fail me.
