Hestra Vertical Cut Freeride Gloves

Hestra Vertical Cut Freeride Glove: The Vertical Cut Freeride Glove is Hestra’s most popular model by far, and there is a reason for that. Cowhide Aniline maintains durability and waterproofing while Cordura stretch fabric and strategically placed Kevlar hold the glove together. Vertical Cut Technology minimizes unnecessary material usage and creates the most snug, comfortable fit possible.
Material
Waterproofed Hestra Cowhide, Cordura stretch fabric and Kevlar make up the exterior shell of the Vertical Cut Freeride while Thermolite insulation and Bemberg/polyester lining form to your hands and retain warmth while wicking away moisture.
Best Use
As the name suggests, Freeride is the name of the game.

Comments about Hestra Vertical Cut Freeride Gloves:

Before I ordered, I asked the EVO rep for the highest rated, warmest glove he had heard of and this glove was the recommendation. I am not disappointed. I live in Minnesota on a farm. Need I say more? We're living in the December blizzard with 18"of snow and -35 wind chill from the north wind blasting today. These gloves work. I used them for chores and went snowmobiling. Again, these gloves did the trick. I walked fence lines and had no issues while doing so. Functional, warm and what I needed.

Comments about Hestra Vertical Cut Freeride Gloves:

Hands down, no questions asked, these are the best gloves I have ever owned. I have owned DaKine, Burton, and Stoic Gloves. None of them compare to the comfort, durability, and functionality of the Hestra. I would highly recommend these to anyone who wants to keep their hands warm the entire day on the mountain. Great Product!

Comments about Hestra Vertical Cut Freeride Gloves:

These are a very soft and nimble glove that are durable thanks to the leather. While they are not technically waterproof if you apply the Hestra balm regularly your hands will stay dry unless your are submersing them in water. Unlike Gortex gloves these keep the wind OUT.

The gloves do run a bit small so edge up on the sizing.

Orange is the best color IMO. I have the brown but the orange looks cool, especially once they are oiled up and broken in.

Comments about Hestra Vertical Cut Freeride Gloves:

Very, very, very, very nice gloves. Like others have stated... NOT ALL GLOVES ARE ALIKE. These things are awesome. Leather us so soft doesn't feel like you're wearing gloves at all. Super warm. AWESOME looking. Not really a con... you will have to treat the leather yourself to waterproof them.... But you've gotta expect that... It's leather. I can tell these gloves will last me a lifetime.

Comments about Hestra Vertical Cut Freeride Gloves:

A glove is just a glove right? Now way senor. A glove is not just a glove and especially if you referring to the Hestra Vertical Cut Freeride. Honestly, these gloves fit really well. They are extremely comfortable, very durable and warm like a cozy bonfire.

I said they weren't waterproof and that is both true and a lie. If you don't treat the leather you are in for some heavy wet gloves. But, if you treat them, these things will repel water and keep you dry.

Worth every dollar. You will have and love these gloves for a long time.
