Pros

Cons

  • Wet

Best Uses

Comments about DaKine Viper Gloves:

Definitely a good pair of park gloves! Good grip and, when worn with thin liners, keeps your hands warm! On wet days these gloves do the job for about half the day, then get wet inside and out. But overall these gloves are good for their money!

Comments about DaKine Viper Gloves:

I bought this glove to replace my old spring gloves. These gloves have worked great and look great. They have kept me warm in dry weather at about 30F. The inside of the glove is nothing to write home about, but they are by no means uncomfortable. I would buy them again.

These gloves are great on the slopes as long as the temp doesn't drop below thirty. I usually start the mornings with a warmer glove and transition to these as the day and myself warm up.

        Comments about DaKine Viper Gloves:

I bought these gloves as I thought they would be a good option for those warmer days where my down insulated gloves would leave my palms sweaty. However these were not fit for purpose, they're not waterproof and do not keep your hands warm at all, when your sitting on the lift and even when your riding all you can think about is how cold your hands are. I knew that these would not be as warm as my Gordini's however I did not realise how cold they were going to be. They're good as a general winter glove just don't take them to altitude and expect them to perform.

        Comments about DaKine Viper Gloves:

I may not even try wearing these on the mountain, as they were uncomfortably wet and cold after the first two or three snowballs of the year. They offer little protection from wind and water, but do feel nice on my hands otherwise. Great fit, no bulk, nice look.. I just think winter gloves like these ought to keep your hands warm.

          Comments about DaKine Viper Gloves:

Bought these last year, and it was a big mistake. Be prepared to wear the cheap cotton gloves under these because they dont keep your hands warm at all. Also, if you fall alot, or find yourself with your hands in the snow alot when your bored (snowballs, sitting and waiting for people, or getting scorped LOLzz), then dont buy these. They arent waterproof at all.

I ended up buying these gloves from EMS. The tag said "Waterproof" so I made the sales person get a cup of water, THEY ARE WATERPROOF. Best glove i have ever owned, keeps hands warm, well staying mobile. Looking for another set now, these lasted 5 yrs, love them!!
