DaKine Team Sabre Gloves: The DaKine Team Sabre Glove was made to keep your little piggies warm and comfortable without having to worry about the weather. Water logging is a thing of the past with innovative features like the Weathershield™ fabric and Hipora® waterproof inserts. Be prepared for any weather this season with the DaKine Team Sabre Glove. As an added bonus we will throw in a sweet design by Eric Pollard himself. No thanks in order, just rep them well.

Material

Shell fabric: Durafuse™ leather / Weathershield™ Nylon - The surface of the shell fabric is treated with a Durable Water Repellant (DWR) finish to block out moisture. The backside of the fabric is also treated with another water resistant and breathable coating to act as a climate control system that lets perspiration out but keeps moisture from penetrating inward keeping hands warm and dry

Insert: Hipora® waterproof – Uses a unique polyurethane film technology that maximizes value and comfort. Hipora® shuts out water from the outside, keeping hands warm and dry on the inside

Palm: Durafuse™ leather – A unique tanning process that infuses the leather with a waterproofing agent and compound dye yielding premium leather for ultimate comfort and durability.

Thermoloft™ [80g]: A synthetic insulation with an excellent balance of comfort, warmth and value. It resists moisture in wet conditions providing loft retention and an air space that holds heat and keeps hands warm. The non-bulky nature of this insulation allows breathability in warm conditions.

230g fleece / 400g pile lining: Fixed liners provide superior dexterity and comfort due to minimal bulk inside the glove or mitt. Mid-weight fleece provides added insulation

Comments about DaKine Team Sabre Gloves:

All around fantastic gloves! My hands were toasty all day in these. The zipper, button cuff allow for a secure fit at all times. The flexibility and maneuverability is excellent. They are about 90% leather so they do require some leather winterization. The leather also tends to get wet fairly easily. These would probably not be the best choice for a really wet day. They dry quickly (I rode three days in a row with these and each day they were dry and ready to go). They are windproof. And they are stylish! I would definitely recommend this to a skier or rider who doesn't spend a whole lot of time with their hands on the snow.
