The DaKine Impreza Gloves are my favorite pair of snowboarding gloves I own. While they're more of a pipe-style glove and aren't too bulky, they're plenty warm. The reduced bulk is great because it makes putting on your glove very easy and allows greater dexterity. If you're operating a camera, adjusting straps, buckles, opening and closing small zippers, or trying to press the record button on your go-pro these gloves makes it easy – no need to take off your gloves (they're a lot like well-fitting mechanics gloves). However, if you do need to constantly be in and out of your gloves, this pair of gloves is very convenient. I've used these gloves in low 20-degree weather and mushy high 30-degree weather, and my hands stayed dry and warm. Last season's model didn't have a velcro cuff, but this year's does. While that might impact the ease of quickly removing the glove, it does provide a bit extra length and increases wrist coverage. It's my second pair of these gloves, I would definitely recommend them to those that need extra dexterity.

I got this glove hoping that it would function with or without liners. I tried using them without but it's basically impossible. I think this glove is mostly intended as a waterproof layer. Besides that it has very little insulating power and your hand will get cold pretty fast if you're playing in the snow. I got the size X-large (I'm 5'10'' and 165 lbs) and they're not just a little small but fit in a weird way as well. That made them kind of uncomfortable to wear with liners, which is a problem.

Use these when the weather on the mountain is too warm for heavier gloves. Great for spring boarding. Would use these during below freezing days.

          Comments about DaKine Impreza Gloves:

I got these gloves because I wanted to move away from my guantlet style (Dakine Apollo I think?). I am very pleased with how low profile they are. They fit over my burton under gloves with some effort, but that makes them super toast without scarificing dexterity. The combo was so toasty, that I tried to remove the under layer only to get cold. I have riden them at Stevens pass, WA (28 deg day and stormy) and Mt. Baker, WA (32 deg day and wet) both without a complaint

The gloves worked quite well for me. Bought them because I wanted something a little thinner than my thick boarding gloves. These are it. Your finger tips will get cold in frezzing weather and below if a thin liner glove is not used, heck they still might. Easy to get on and off too.

Bought this for my husband who normally fits a large glove.
He's 6 feet and 172 lbs, but he could not even get his hands in the glove.
I bought a medium for my son who's 5'8" and 125 lbs and they fit fine.
Maybe we got a defective pair.
Too bad, because with the sale and discount code, it was a great deal for the quality.

I have yet to use these. They feel warm at home but being in the snow would be the real test. I do have some what bigger hands and these fit perfect. The design of the glove is simple on the outside but I do like the graphics a lot on the palms.

                        Comments about DaKine Impreza Gloves:

I bought these gloves because they had the neon yellow color on them that I was looking for. I like DaKine products and have another pair of their gloves in red.
The Impreza gloves are everything I love about DaKine, durable, waterproof, good grip, flexible so I can move my fingers in them and true to size for my female hands. The only thing about them is they are not for very cold conditons. We're just back from Breckenridge where the temps were below zero and windy. I added glove liners which made the fit very tight and my fingers still froze. On the days where the temps were in the 20s and 30s these gloves were a winner. I would recommend them for spring skiing conditions, but when the temps drop not even glove liners could help these glove make it though the day.
FYI..if you plan to wear glove liners with these gloves order one size larger for a roomier fit and more flexibility.

The gloves were on sale, plus I had a discount code, that sealed the deal. I've been watching these online, but Evo is local, and I picked it up the next morning. They are a little big, but nothing that is a deal breaker. I bought mediums, after trying mediums on at the store, but when I got them, there's about a quarter to half inch in every finger.

Other than the sizing, they work awesome. Lightweight gloves, that keep my hands nice and dry (thanks to the goretex), while staying fairly warm. Nothing hand warmers can't fix if its one of those 15 degree days. Comfortable, and easily wearable for the entire day.
