I bought the Dakine gloves as an alternative to wearing mittens. I wear mittens most of the time due to the cold finger syndrome, but these gloves keep my hands plenty warm even in lower temps. Good purchase.

Wore them snow skiing in Big Sky and they kept my hands warm on all but the coldest day that was 20 below!

Opening doesn't close all that tight, lets in a bit of snow so cold wrists

I picked up a pair of these in XS for my 10 year old daughter. In the past she has complained about having cold hands and has had trouble getting gloves and coat to fit together in a comfortable manner. These have proven a winner on both fronts. No more need for handwarmers and no more wrestling with gloves to get them on properly.

Got these to replace some gloves I was worried to be too lightweight for a weekend at Crystal. These worked great! Dry, warms hands = awesome. Little inside pockets for HandWarmers are pretty sweet too.

Only downer is with Dakine gloves the smalls are a little too short on my hands, but the mediums are a bit long on some fingers. At least with the medium I can fit my wristgurd in underneath.

I actually really like these gloves. I've been wearing mine almost daily for two months for commuting to work and riding. I work at a ski resort so they get worn a LOT. They are wearing really well and still look great.

The outside of the gloves have been wet at the end of some days but my hands never get wet in these gloves, which is awesome. No soaking through means not only are my gloves dry each morning when I put them on, they also don't get that gross wet glove smell like all my other gloves seem to. The longer wrist cuff takes some getting used to at first but I have grown to like it as well.

I totally forgot they had warmer pockets inside until I came to write this review but now that I've been reminded of that I'm giving these gloves five stars. If you are outside in really cold weather or get cold easily I would recommend sliding some warmers in. These are not the warmest gloves I've owned but are fine in mid-20s to mid-30 degree weather unless the wind really gets going.

They do run kind of small so order a size larger than you would usually. In other DaKine women's gloves (and those from other brands) I've usually fit in a size small but I wear medium in these.

These gloves are great - and they're actually two pairs of gloves in one! The inner liner gloves are really nice. You could use them on their own for everyday use in moderately chilly weather. Paired with the real gloves though they are great for when the fingers of big gloves are too clumsy. The main gloves were nicely waterproof and warm, and they have nice bungee cords at the bottom for keeping the snow & wind out. Definitely happy with them!
