I bought these thinking they would fit like a pipe glove but not be rubbery like the palm of a pipe glove. I read through the description to quickly and saw "waterproof shell" and assumed they would be waterproof. THESE ARE NOT WATER PROOF. They have an amazingly water resistant upper shell, while the palm (where you would actually touch snow) is a thick fleece, which soaks up water/snow and allows water to reach your hands inside. I was going to return these, but as casual wear gloves they are super comfy and warm. If you looking for an equally priced alternative that is fully waterproof, look at the Dakine Scout, which are warm and comfortable for an about equal price.
