This is a perfect gift for a friend, or even for yourself. This item was originally purchased as a Gag item. Thought it would be funny boarding down the slopes with this on. Well, after using it, I was really surprised it acted not only as a wind breaker, but it was warm too! I recommend this product for a more advanced skier/boarder. If you fall and get snow on it-- the mask is not waterproof so it does get soaked pretty easy. Regardless, the mask stays warm and protects against windburn throughout the day even in the fierce Colorado winds. Wish I had photo's to put up, but if your looking for protection against the wind and some fun this is definitely worth the purchase.
