The heavier the rider the harder to ride. Almost impossible to get back on with out help. I am 250lbs and it was like trying to sit on a ball in the water. Had to start from the bank. Small kids, 100 lbs and less, had better luck riding but still couldn't get back on without help. If I had it to do over I wouldn't buy this one ...... would opt for one with a hole in the middle may be more stable.

When I inflated it, I was impressed with the quality of construction. Once on the water disappointment set in. Pulled several different sized kids(young and old). The only one that could get on unassisted was a 28 year old former Marine. Floats high in the water, flips over easily, and would benefit from a handle in the middle to help you pull yourself up on the tube. Once underway, it seems to do what they all do. The best rider I had was a 100 pound 11 year old. Myself , at 250 pound had to start from the bank because it was like sitting on a round ball (would roll right over with out the pull of the boat to keep it stabile). If i had to do it over I would have got a regular tube with a hole in the middle.
