Burton Hook Softshell Jacket

I bought this one at a discount, i thought it would be a really good mid layer. I tried pairing it up with a burton AK hover jacket which has a pretty wide and roomy collar, but the hook thing was pretty uncomfortable.

The hood on the hook is pretty stiff and thick and pulls the collar, which in turn started itching and scratching me on the next and chin.

I wanted to give it a shot on a warmer spring day as an outer layer, but it kinda beats the point of using this instead of the ultra right and mobile AK Hover.

Now i wear it around town, as a pretty good looking spring jacket. The design is simple, and i like it that way.

If it came without a hoodie, it would be an awesome middle layer, this way I don't know how to use it for snowboarding.
