I have owned a few pairs of Oakley boardies over the years and their highend boardshorts have always been great but this is by far the best pair I have ever owned. The textured material keeps your shorts from sticking to your legs to minimize rubbing and irritation while paddling if you are actually surfing with them. The 4way stretch is extremely comfortable and helps them dry quick so you can wear them all day from a dawn partol to sunset session and trips to the town cantina. I would size up an inch depending on how low you like to wear them, the waist seems a bit small in my normal sizing. I wear a 30 in denim and buy a 33 in all my Oakley boardshorts so they sit low on my hips.

Bottom line: They will be a high quality, long lasting pair of boardies ready for any and every adventure you are up for making them worth every penny.
