Patagonia Atacama Backpack: Atacama, Chile is a bit of a conundrum boasting some of the best surf in South America right next to one of the driest deserts in the world. For whatever conditions, extreme or not, you find yourself in the Patagonia Atacama Backpack is equipped to keep you well packed and hydrated. This 28L “surf” backpack has an outside pocket perfect for your wet suite, wet clothes or anything needing ventilation. It also has a waterproof lining to protect all your goodies in the main pocket from water destruction. The Patagonia Atacama Backpack comes hydration compatible and has side pockets perfect for water bottles so you will never be stuck de-hydrated.
Size and Volume
28 L (1709 cu in) 20" x 13" x 10"
Pockets
Dual compartment. Outside pocket is meant for a damp wetsuit or waders with mesh outsides for drainage and ventilation.
The main pocket has loads of organizational options for pens, electronics, keys and phone, along with a padded sleeve that's raised to protect up to a 17-inch laptop.
Two stretch side pockets are perfect for water bottles.

420-denier 100% nylon oxford plain weave.
Base: 840-denier 100% ballistics nylon.
Lining: 200-denier 100% polyester.
Stretch-woven pockets: 92% nylon/8% spandex. All treated with a Deluge DWR (durable water repellent) finish

    Love my backpack. I use it everyday walking around campus going to classes. I get lots of comments on it. It can hold a textbook, my computer, and some notebooks. There are some great pockets on the inside. I love the waist straps, they provide lots of support and help take weight off your shoulders.
