I bought this bookbag for my boyfriend who uses his bag as his daily briefcase. He takes his "briefcase" to his "office", the beach everyday. He is in hot humid weather and sand is easily tracked with him where ever he goes. This bookbag is very durable in beach conditions because of its light and breathable material and the special zipper system. He throws wet towels and bathing suits in the bag and by the end of the day the bag is not stinky because it is being somewhat ventalated with the random side zipper opening and the material itself. The bag is large sized but is not heavy. Its zipper system is impossible to get stuck because there is no extra little fabric hanging over the zipper. The two small side pockets are velcrowed with a very strong connection. The top little pocket inside the bag is very insulated with soft material. This provides protection for important valubles so when he puts wet things in the bigger section of the bag, he is keeping his precious and expensive valuables up high and sealed away. The back padding of the bag is very koosh. Very comforting to the back when hauling heavy things. The shoulder straps however, I think could have used some more padding, considering the bag pad is so plush. Also, the chest strap is handy to have when having to travel with the bag on back.
