    Comments about DaKine Recon Backpack:

    This backpack is great for traveling and day excursions. I travel frequently and it fits my 17" laptop w/ soft case without problem with plenty of room to spare. The microfiber sunglass pocket is super clutch too. I've found alternative uses for the cooler, surf wax and and wetsuit compartments as they make for great travel-size toiletries, small valuables and dirty laundry (when traveling). You can wipe em clean without compromising the integrity of the outer fabric or your belongings in the main pack compartment. Also, I live in the city and don't have a car, and it has come in handy for shopping errands as it is deceivingly roomy. It's really comfortable to carry on the back if it is loaded with serious weight. I can't wait to move back to the West Coast so I can use it beach and mountainside!!!
