They don’t make'em any better! Dakine really hit it on the mark with the Heli Pack. It seems to be the perfect size for a "resort" ski pack. Just big enough to carry a 100oz liquid reservoir, lunch, and couple of spare gear items without felling too big. BOMBER construction and excellent comfort fit & finish! Dakine makes excellent products and has a top notch reputation. Look at all the top ski pro's in today’s films. Most will have a Dakine pack strapped to their back. I highly recommend ANY & ALL Dakine products to everyone! I have 3 packs and 3 other Dakine products & they also work just as good & have exceeded my expectations! Dakine has an excellent guarantee/warranty & truly stands behind their products. A big "PROPS" to Dakine for making durable & useable products that also look killer! Now go out & go get some!

I can carry a windebreaker, a sweatshirt, a lunch, running shoes strapped on outside, my hockey stick strapps on, and I can still put odds and end into pockets, plus the resevoir has hold your beverage!

At first i was looking for a backpack that would replace my old L.L. Bean backpack from a couple years ago. This easily holds all the books, binders, and folders i need it to. It also holds skis, a snowboard and a shovel. There is also a nifty little whistle. The Heli-Pack is extremely comfortable and should seriously be considered if you want to stand out again all the other packs.

I admit, I origionally bought this only because it could hold my snowboard, and although I don't do a lot of snow hiking with my board, that was cool in itself. But, I use it constantly - I even use it instead of a purse! I've used it as a hiking pack and an overnight bag as well. I couldn't be happier!

Great pack with sweet style points. It is a great pack if you have a small quantity of stuff to carry. It looks great while riding and has relatively easy access to a shovel if you like. The ski carry however is not great. If you are strappin' up and hiking, don't bring this pack, because it is to small to handle anything but junior skis. It just doesn't feel like my skis are tightly strapped to my body when I put them in the diagonal ski carry. But, otherwise, know what you need it for and its great. I put in a small lunch, extra long underwear, boot, binding, and ski tools, and a tub of quick base wax.
