          The shorts fit great but they a bit scratchy. I just wear another pair of thin shorts under them and that work perfect. I haven't fallen in them yet. The padding seems pretty good but the material seems like it may tear if you don't have the right shorts to cover them. The padding covers the side sof the legs and your butt.

          Great product at a great price. I crashed mountain biking in Whistler this summer and these would have literally saved my hide. My friend had another brand that cost twice as much and these are as good or better. The only thing that kept me from rating them five stars is that I wish they would have recommended washing them before use. The first time I wore them my skin turned black, apparently from the dye. Washed both pairs and now perfect.

            These pads have saved me from many falls in Men's Roller Derby. After getting beaten up during my first practice, I decided that these would be a good idea. I am happy with these as they don't seem to restrict movement, stay cool when working out, and have washed well so far. I was worried about these being bulky or too thick, but the medium fits me (pants size 34") fits close but not too tight. Doesn't show under loose shorts.
