      I ordered these protective shorts after a pretty serious hip injury during a roller derby practice. After a few weeks, I wanted to start skating again but was a little scared of re-injury. These shorts provide me with more confidence of protection and are comfortable to wear. Honestly they are made to wear under baggy shorts but I wear them over tights in practice. After a little fun about my "butt pads" they were accepted and no big deal. I had only planned on wearing them for a few weeks but think I might keep wearing them for some time. It sure has helped when I get blocked or have a clumsy moment!

            Just before our snowboard trip to Colorado, I bought this product for my GF for xmas. She made fun of the fact that I bought her BUTTPADS as a christmas gift.
