    After slipping on these POC kneepads and a little test punch to see their protection, I immediately dropped down hard on both knees. I have concrete floors and didnt feel a thing and even though I havent had a chance to use these yet (let it snow!) trying them already gave me a good idea of how much these are going to save my knees when the park gets icy at Bear.

    The secret is that the material which the pad are made out of is slightly squishy, absorbing a large amount of impact into the material, unlike a hardshell pad which only serves to distribute the force evenly across your knees. This tech is what makes POC labs stand out amongst manufacturers and I can bet their other equipment is at the same state of the art.

    The only thing I could note as negative would be the fact that they are a bit stiff when I first tried them on though that will probably just have to be broken in, and knowing how many diggers I take, that shouldnt be long.
