A burly overlap 120 flex boot that gives up little to a plug race shell, the Scarpa Freedom SL Alpine Touring Ski Boots are meant to rule the slopes both inbounds and outside the backcountry gate. Super responsive but with a surprisingly large range of cuff motion in touring mode, the Freedom SL gives you just that - all-mountain freedom in one boot. Made of planet-friendly Pebax® Rnew for power without a weight penalty, and with available ISO 5355 alpine sole blocks (sold separately), the Freedom SL will get the job done no matter where your work takes you.

Freeriding LastThe anatomical last for the best custom fit for freeriding. Designed for the freeriders’ needs, the specific last of the FREEDOM ensures a precise fit and high-performance, for smooth and precise skiing on the steep slopes.

Overlap Closure TechnologyDesigned to ensure a perfect wrap of the cuff and the shell. "Overlap Closure Technology" allows the correct movement of the ankle and creates direct power transmission to the skis.The front of the cuff is separated into two area, between the cuff buckle, for a uniform and precise closure of the tibial area. A different thickness and oblique profile on the bottom guarantees the correct wrapping of the forefoot without any point of pressure.

Protective RaysMolded onto the shell, these rays are designed to protect the first bottom buckle from accidental impacts.

Stance

Axial Power ControlA new dimension of performance for total control. "Axial Power Control" helps to improve the inclination of the joints of the ankle-knee for more precise edge grip. The inclination of 2 degrees medial axis allows for more sensitive and responsive skiing, especially on the steep slopes.
