Comments about Dynastar Legend Exclusive Medium Alpine Touring Ski Bindings - Women's (92mm Brakes) 2009:

I'm a 5'5" 140lb guy and I don't care that I am skiing chick skis and bindings. They work great for AT and Downhill, and I saved a grand. If you are light like I am, the women's specific stuff is great because it's designed for my weight and it saves Akita cash. Great product at a killer price, I like my knees so I doubt I'll need any more juice than din 10 anyway.

I got this For my Fiance so she could come out and tour with me this spring. Not the best binding ever but for the price and what it does I would say it is great for somone looking to see what alpine touring is about. Just put them and an old pair of skis and ski em till they break.

I bought these bindings for my fiance so she could come out with me. Great binding for getting into skinning. You dont have to invest in a 400 dollar binding or put up with a pair of alpine trekkers to get started. As long as you are not hucking anything it is a solid biding. Little bit of tortional flex.

Comments about Dynastar Legend Exclusive Medium Alpine Touring Ski Bindings - Women's (92mm Brakes) 2009:

These bindings are made by naxo and just branded dynstar. Nothing against dynstar, but naxo has been in the AT business for a while. The mount pattern was a little wonky, but there are paper templates as with most AT bindings. They are decently light, surprisingly stiff compared to what I expected. The locking interface is tight, but could be more confidence inspiring. Overall a good bet if you find them on sale.

a lot of plastic in this binding, but seems to hold up to some moderate abuse so far really well. my girlfriend wouldn't huck cliffs with these, but i'm sure she'll be fine doing typical touring on advanced/expert terrain.

I thought it would be scary skiing on a ski resort with this binding through moguls, skate park, and high speeds since it's an alpine touring binding but it has done great!

Comments about Dynastar Legend Exclusive Medium Alpine Touring Ski Bindings - Women's (92mm Brakes) 2009:

These are a great price, but I found it very difficult finding a ski shop who will mount these bindings. Shops need to be indemnified and naxo went out of business. That's why these are such a great deal. So for liability reasons, lots of shops won't mount them. Either mount them yourself, or spend time looking for a shop.

The bindings themselves are great. Light weight, simple to use, and perfect for the occasional back country skier. They aren't bomber if you are hucking off some cliffs or go out 50 times a year.
