Intended these for the backcountry, logging a hundred miles or more, and ten's of thousands of vertical, finding them bullet-proof, they are also now my choice for powder days off the lifts. A truly fine piece of engineering.

Comments about Dynafit TLT Radical ST Ski Bindings (130mm Brakes) 2013:

I researched Dynafit extensively this winter, trying to determine what the "best" choice would be. Seems that, in the end, they're all great selections. I originally tried to find the TLT Speed but the USA has run pretty dry.

Enter these bindings - essentially the same thing but beefed up. A little stiffer. And with brakes. The brakes are a little janky, as in they don't inspire confidence that they would actually stop the ski if it popped off, but the build quality looks to be pretty high.

My favorite bit about the bindings is the Radical elevator design. On a tour a couple weekends ago up Mt. Catherine, I could flip back and forth to my heart's content. A welcome shift from my old tele bindings or from the Dynafit Vertical "Volcano" design.

I mounted these on a pair of 185 Line Opus skis and, on took them on pretty much every condition imaginable (powder, ice, slush, cream cheese, avalanche debris) and they felt like an extension of my body. Very responsive and fun. I recommend it.

I really don't have any complaints, save maybe for the cost. We'll see what my opinion is 1, 2, 3 years down the road!
