Tecnica Viva Inferno Crush Ski Boots - Women's 2011

Tecnica Viva Inferno Crush Ski Boots - Women's 2011: Not for the timid casual skier is the Tecnica Viva Inferno Crush Ski Boots 2011. The Viva Inferno was built for high performance riding with a flex of 100 and forefoot width of 98mm. The Quick Instep System allows for maximum performance without painful entry and exit. Velvet fur lining is the icing on the cake that adds a splash of comfort to this outstanding performance boot.
Materials
Shock absorbing zeppa (boot board) is made of a soft rubbery material that absorbs shock on impact
Liner
The Viva liners feature a velvet fur lining that enhances comfort and provides a quick drying and warmer liner
Additional Features
The Hook-and-Loop Fastener powerstrap has a built in flex and rebound feature. The 45mm elastomer construction offers rebound energy, a progressive flex and shock absorption as well as a better wrap and closer around the leg
The Inferno cuff alignment system is easy to use and effective. It aligns the cuff to follow the shape of the lower leg increasing comfort and enhancing performance. Duel cuff alignment (inside and outside devices) increases the effectiveness
A Hook-and-Loop Fastener rear spoiler made of soft, shock absorbing rubber cushions hard landings. It is easily adjustable for personalization. It can be moved to different positions, or removed altogether
Cuff Shape
All Viva liners utilize lasts of women’s feet to create the best fitting boots. A narrower heel pocket and wider forefoot offer a well wrapping, anatomic fit.
Flex and Fit
The new Quick Instep System offers those seeking a low volume, 98mm shell, the opportunity to experience the performance without suffering the pain of entry and exit. A softer piece of plastic is co-molded in the instep area allowing the foot to slide in and out with ease
The flex on the Inferno can be adjusted by removing either 1 or 2 of the rivets found on the rear spine
All Viva models offer the ability to snap a heel wedge onto the footboard for those female skiers who have difficulty keeping their hips forward. A 2.5 mm wedge comes with the boots and can be used or not. It will also act as a volume reducer for those needing added heel hold
