3 Density Construction is a combination of two different (hard and soft) plastics that create 3 different zones of hardness within the shell. In the Dragon, the 3D is designed for power and strength by utilizing more hard than soft materials. An asymmetric design delivers more power to the edge. 70% Hard (1st Injection) 30% Soft (2nd Injection).
Liner
Dragon liner construction offers the latest in materials and the combination of these materials to provide superior heel hold and foot envelopment with unequaled comfort. The Slayer comes with Tecnica’s UltraFit+ liner.
Additional Features
The velcro powerstrap has a built in flex and rebound feature. The 45mm elastomer construction offers rebound energy, a progressive flex and shock absorption as well as a better wrap and closer around the leg. The strap is also height adjustable
A velcro rear spoiler allows you to easily adjust the spoiler for personalization. It can be moved to different positions, or removed all together
The Dragon cuff alignment system is easy to use and effective. It aligns the cuff to follow the shape of the lower leg increasing comfort and enhancing performance. Duel cuff alignment (inside and outside devices) increases the effectiveness.
Cuff Shape
The Dragon last is modified from the successful race models. The forward lean is slightly more upright and the width of the forefoot is 100mm for all day skiing comfort while still offering very high skiing performance characteristics. The height of the cuff is similar to the Race Pro to offer more secure feel, better flex resistance and greater performance.
Flex and Fit
With a flex of 110, you get a performance boot that increases ski response. As the name suggests, these boots will slay slopes as you charge down the hill all while having incredible control.
