One of the burliest backcountry boots on the market for women, the Tecnica Cochise 105 Ski Boots are super high performance boots with a touring mode and optional walk soles with tech inserts. If you're looking for a one boot quiver, this might very well be it. Stiff and ultra responsive on the way down, but with an excellent walk mode and Tech binding capability, the Cochise 105 Women's boot is the rare example of a boot that will take on any challenge.

Comments about Tecnica Cochise 105 Ski Boots - Women's 2014:

I've struggled between men's and women's boots for a while. I have long legs so men's always seem to fit better at the start, but I don't have the weight and power to control the stiffer flex on the hill. After lengthy discussion and fit testing at Evo in Seattle, went with these women specific boots. So glad I did. Only two days in them so far this season but they performed beautifully both on the groomed, icey junk and in the powder. I'm 5'9", 145 lb and the flex feels great, my skis are much more responsive with these boots. Not struggling to steer as I did with my old scarpas. They're also comfortable, if that can be said about a ski boot. I kept feeling in my toes all day. Love the power lock buckle strap too. Can't wait to try these out touring, hopefully they'll do as well skinning up as they do powering down!
