I was a relativly new skier, and bought skiis and boots for my honeymoon. The X-Wave boots were fairly highly suggested, so I gave them a shot. I couldn't have been happier. They were cozy, comfortable, and gave me all the grib and flex I needed to learn, and get better. Plus X-wave makes boots for all levels. I won't buy any other boot than an X-Wave.

perfect all mountain boot for a light (150 lbs -ish) but aggressive skier on the slopes. the flex rating of 90 seems inaccurate...I would say it is more like 100, but it has the perfect balance of flex for the park and stiffness for bombing groomers. nice lightweight design and solid buckle construction are perks.

I purchased 12 pairs of ski boots this off season and these were the only ones I kept. Comfortable right out of the box, which isn't always good, but after all of the research I did and trying on different sizes and styles, these are my boots for the next 5 years at least!

I bought these boots and was extremely happy with them. They stay comfortable all day, keep my feet warm, have the right amount of flex. They are a little tight getting my feet in but once they're in, they feel great.

I got this boot in the 27.5 and decided I needed a 27. I wore the 27.5's around my house and felt like the more I wore it, the more the inner boot would pack down (I was using a thin to medium ski sock, for what it's worth) I would highly reccomend this boot, and the only reason this isn't a five-star boot is the sizing (compared to other Salomon products I've tried on was a wee bit big). Go ahead and jump on this boot... you won't be sorry!

I always get my ski boots a size smaller than my shoe size. I like a snug ski boot. The boot liners pack out within 30 days - otherwise, I have used my Intuition (similar to the new Thermoflex liner) liners for two years. Somehow my feet changed shape after the third season, and my toes hurt, especially both big toes (both were blackened). I had the shop where I bought them punch the shell out, but that didn't help. So, I went back to the stock boot liners. I probably should have bought either the X-Wave 9 or 10, and put the Intuition liners in them.
