Salomon SPK Pro Model Ski Boots 2010: Complete with leather finishing, a walkable sole, and a 2-density heel cushioning system, the Salomon SPK Pro Model Ski Boots are the perfect companion to your next gnarly line. Absorbing shock through a heel shock absorber as well as a toe specific shock absorber, the Salomon SPK Pro Model Ski Boots will keep your ride extra smooth and absorb the weight from huge landings.

  • Flex and Fit:The Salomon SPK Pro Model Ski Boots feature a stiffer 110 flex and V Last Technology that provides a tight fit in the heel and less volume on the instep for performance and a wider toe box to free the toes. The Salomon SPK Pro Model Boots have a 106mm forefoot width which is as roomy and comfortable as a traditional recreational or entry level boot and are suited for advanced to expert skiers.
  • Cuff Shape:Space Frame Technology saves weight on the cuff while the spoiler and tongue cushioning system adds extra padding to the shin and calf areas.
  • Materials:Leather finishing looks slick while the walkable sole makes snowboarders wish they had never stopped skiing just because of the boots.
  • Liners:My Custom Fit Pro liner is heat-moldable for immediate customization and comfort from day one. // Oversize liner cushioning on toes provides extra padding of neoprene.
  • Additional Features:Two oversized buckles make boot entry and exit a snap and add Salomon’s signature style // Crank down the oversized power strap for added support.

Comments about Salomon SPK Pro Model Ski Boots 2010:

these boots are the est thing that has happened in my life. I have taken 4 strokes off my golf game. I was also able to eliminate a nasty slice that has been diminishing my driving abilities. With the use of these boots I have also been able to split pinon wood with a great amount of ease. I have always been able to chop regular pine (and even cotton wood on a good day lol!) but pinon has always given me trouble. With these boots I go up to the high talpa ridge country and get some pinon. I then take this wood put it on my chopping block, take the splitter and the wood falls apart. All of this would not be possible with out these boots. However for cotton, to be honest I would recommend that you tighten up both buckles as well as the din setting on your skis. With these boots I can say honestly that you will be able to have enough wood to last you for at least half a winter. It also saves a great amount money because you will no longer have to buy [$] chords of wood from Edward down in Ranchos.

Comments about Salomon SPK Pro Model Ski Boots 2010:

Ordered these due to my 10.5 EEE feet - the 104 last really helps but the liner seems to be pushed a bit. the stock footbed was a little weak, but as with any boot, I switched it out with a custom one. If you have a high volume foot, the 2nd buckle and U shaped tongue may cause pain/pressure on the top of your foot - I was able to get around this by popping the liner out and pulling the rubber heel inserts out. The red and yellow pieces separate, so you can adjust height on it.not the stiffest boot, but holds its own for me. (6'3, 195). If you are the type that gets advanced bootwork done with a heat gun, the leather lining would make that difficult on your fitter.Would be nice if the lower buckle could adjust laterally.Overall, if you are a bigger park/freeride skier w a wider foot, seems like this boot would be tough to beat. Couldn't be happier with Evogear [...]

I posted a review on these earlier. I've had these boots for about a month now and still absolutely love the fit, responsiveness, etc.

I am super bummed however, because of the massive rip in the material on the top of my toe and how easy these boots are scuffed, torn, etc.

BEWARE: DO NOT WEAR THESE BOOTS IN TREE RUNS.

And I am also super bummed because Salomon would not warranty them.

Comments about Salomon SPK Pro Model Ski Boots 2010:

I was worried these wouldn't fit my leg correctly because I'm a 5'5" female, but they are customizable and the heat molding is awesome... It's like stepping into heaven. They are extremely comfortable. Very responsive on turns, but plenty of flex and padding for those hard landings. I originally got these for park specific boots, but find myself wearing them WAY more than I thought I would... Park, Powder, the bowls... they perform everywhere.

The only bummer is like the other reviewer said, they scuff and scratch easy. They are also a bit bulky, but I like the look!

Comments about Salomon SPK Pro Model Ski Boots 2010:

This boot is great! It provides great comfort, and is easy to work with. The only real con to this boot is that the leather is easily scuffed and cut, so time will tell if this book will fall apart or not. the boot looks a little bulky especially on a skinny ski. i have had no problems with this boot so far and expect myself to be buying this boot for awhile.
