Salomon Impact X7 Ski Boots 2009: Just because you’re an advanced skier doesn’t mean you want the stiffest, most uncomfortable boot out there. Salomon understands. The Impact X7 ski boot for 2009 features a mid-level flex, a bit of extra room in the toe box and a ton of customizable options. Built for all the shredders out there who also understand the importance of comfort.
- Flex and Fit:Mid-stiff flex. Performance Fit.
- Materials:Bi-material shell and cuff use soft materials over the instep and the front of the cuff for ease of entry, excellent foot envelopment and progressive flex. Oversize Sensifit material over the forefoot and up the front of the shell enhances comfort and ease of entry. Second Skin last surrounds the foot with a performance anatomical fit, so every bit of control pressure is transferred to the ski. Spaceframe Shell Profile, with multi-layer construction and precise wall thicknesses, optimizes feeling, performance and energy transmission
- Cuff and Canting:Sensifit 2D cuffs use soft Sensifit plastic in the shin and overlap areas of the boot cuff enhances comfort and easy of entry, and accommodates varying lower leg shapes. Canting adjustment aligns the cuffs to lower leg shape
- Liner:Custom thermal-moldable liner maximizes comfort and performance.
- Additional Features:Microadjustable titanium buckles shave weight off the boot while providing performance-enhancing stiffness. Auto 3D instep buckle has 3 adjustable positions on the shell, allowing a personalized closure angle for optimal envelopment, comfort and control. Rear spoiler heights can be adjusted for more or less rear support.
