I bought these after seeing good reviews about them on other sites. They fit perfectly! I ordered a size 9 (which is my usual size) and they fit like a glove. The lining is super soft and warm. I'm so excited to get out on the slopes with these boots!

Packed out an entire size. My foot has a high arch so the bone on top of my foot rubs (only right foot). Not sure if anyone else has that problem, or my feet are not ordinary. My left boot is super comfy (just a size too big). I wear a 9.5 high heel shoe and 26 was too big after 25 days of skiing (good at first and then packs out). I'm considering dropping down to size 24.5

These boots kept my feet warm and have a snug feel to them. I bought them because I have narrow feet and I liked the way they felt snug around my ankles. The only negative is that I felt some rubbing around my heals on the second consecutive day of skiing. I did not get blisters, but it was a little uncomfortable.

Any new boots that fit well are not comfortable for a few ski days. Other than that, after a week, I can say that I like these boots very much.

The boot is very comfortable, warm and runs true to size. It isn't too heavy. I do not believe the boot was built for durability. After pulling the liners out 3 times we noticed wripping along the sole of the liner and cracking. Honestly, I think that is unacceptable for what I thought was a high quality product. If you ski 15 times a season and need to allow your liners to dry, I doubt they will make it through a few seasons. There is no stitching along the soles, it is some form of fabric glue which seems very weak. Best bet is to find a way to dry without removing the liners.

I have been skiing on Salamon Idols for many years now. I am 5,2" and an expert skier and 85 flex feel good, although i wouldnt mind if they made these with 90 flex. They are the one and only boot that I have found that fits my wider foot with normal to higher archer. I have huge calfs that sit low on my short legs, and the idol has an adjustable calf height, so boots fit great for me and will fit well for someone without this problem as well. Top buckle also has a quick and easy adjustment for calf size. This boot keeps your heels in perfectly. Like any boot, check out a local ski shop for custom insoles and professional adjustments for your specific foot. Overall great boot, I will be skiing these for many years, or atleast until discontinued.

I use for skiing bumps. They have great firmness and break-in to a good fit. I lose warmth in the toes though.

My wife and I had been looking for a good new ski boot for her when we read about these and thought we would give them a try. They have turned out to be an excellent choice. She is very happy with the boots and they have helped improve her stability and sense of control on the hills - both groomers and into the powder!

These boots are exactly what I wanted. I've never worn Solomon before, but they fit like a glove. I have a normal foot and width, so they probably wouldn't work for very narrow or wide. I have a high arch and they are fine, but I will probably get orthos. They are so comfortable and stay warm which is most important. They've actually improved my skiing!

Love these boots so much! They are comfortable and beautiful. Although I'm a beginner/intermediate, the 85 flex feels perfect for me . My street shoe size is 38, but for ski boots, I ordered size 23. It may feel very snug at first but they would pack out after just a few days of skiing. I did work with a local bootfitter and I got a custom footbed. Will purchase again for sure.

This is an awesome middle of the line boot. I bought these as my first pair of boots and was pretty satisfied with them. They're easy to put on and buckle easily - but felt the need to head in and give my feet a break from the tightness of the boots after 3 hours of skiing. When I tried to make them a little loser, there was no setting in between that could make them more comfortable but still keep my foot secure in the boot.

The lining of the boot is warm and much more comfortable than other boots I've tried but there was not a night and day difference in warmth. Performance wise, these boots were great and gave me awesome control on my k2's.

In the end, I like these boots but I'm not overwhelmed with love for them.

These boots are super comfortable. I have weak arches and somewhat narrow feet. These are very well made and designed. I can wear them all day!

I have been happy with the boots. Got them on Christmas Eve and used them three consecutive days. On my third day, I did experience slight pressure points on the inner bony prominence on my tibia, but figured it was normal for new boots. Hope this helps!

Spent many years renting demo equipment. Love the variety of skis to choose these days. Boots are another story..... sometimes wet and smelly. I am so happy I purchased my own Salomon Idol 85 CS Ski Boots. They are perfect! Very comfortable and warm....Love them!

There is a small bump that is only slightly uncomfortable located on the top of the foot. It did not cause blistering or irritation, just noticeable. Other Than that, this is a great boot and love all of the customizable adjustments for the perfect fit.

I tried these on in the shop and they were so incredibly comfortable. I then ordered and when I received they seem smaller and they dig in at the ankle. I think custom footbeds would help a lot, plus obviously the inner boot needs to mould a bit, but they do seem to be an inconsistent fit somewhat.

Boot is easy to get in and out, very comfortable, very stable and super cute. My only issue is that the boot is a little wide at the toe.
