This boot is super snug, a narrow fit but for good reason. The boot is very responsive. The buckles are easy and do the job. Looking at it you may think otherwise but the lack of two buckles gives more pop and a smoother flex. The lace up liner is sweet. and the traction under foot keeps your foot from sliding around on your sled.

I was really happy when I first got this boot(ecstatic), We had strait powder days and this boot performed. About a week into it skiing in these and i noticed the flex is sloppy, never uniform. If you want to carve these work most of the time, but I do feel that I drive harder while skiing in my nordica's. People do complain about getting into the boot but you just have to pry it open to get your foot in, easier than a race boot. I have 40 days on these boots and I will only put them if I am skiing big with wide open powder days. Just to let everyone know, in my opinion these are terrible for moguls.. I think there are better boots out there and the 2 buckle system did not really do it for me.

Comments about Salomon Ghost Ski Boots 2009:

I've used the boots several times this season. It's really hard to wear it. Especially if you have a big calf like me, you'll have serious problems riding in these boots. I was unlocking the buckles after every single ride.

Production quality is excellent and the boots are quite warm.

Comments about Salomon Ghost Ski Boots 2009:

They ski great. I am 200lb 6'1'' expert skier and I ski volkl AC30 on the double blacks searching out steeps and untracked snow. These boots allow you to aggressively attack your turns with out any heal slop and great return energy. They definitely connect your foot to your ski and allow you to feel the mountain. They do pinch my toes and my feet were cold on the lift but I am still breaking them in and I did not buy them for comfort or warmth but performance and on that they have delivered. I would recommend this boot for expert run skiers who are willing to give up comfort and warmth to be better skiers. [...]

Over all great boot. Would recommend for big mountain and powder. I put in a few days on the park with them and they seemed to work fine. Maybe a tad to stiff for the average park rat.

Haven't had the chance to use these on ice or on a really cold day, but I love them so far. They are actually a little on the soft side, but I'm assuming they will stiffen up in the cold.

Really solid boot, they fit a little tighter for quick response. but dont get a size bigger or smaller then you normally would or you'll be sorry.
The boot has 2 buckles and a liner tightener which makes it easier to buckle

Comments about Salomon Ghost Ski Boots 2009:

This boot exceeded my expectations. Plenty stiff (120 flex), comfy once you get the liner broke in, and it looks sick. The two buckle system is awesome. Super quick to buckle. The only down side to this boot is that it kinda sucks to get in and out of at first. Good luck if you leave them in your car overnight. Other than that, bomber boots.

Comments about Salomon Ghost Ski Boots 2009:

If you fit Salomon then and ski aggresively then these boots are for you. Only two bukles you say? but wait the fit is even better, the flex pattern is better, it is easier to adjust, it is easier to open when hiking, and lighter. Basically all boots should be like this.
