Rossignol Alias Sensor 80 Ski Boots 2013

Rossignol Shop all Rossignol
The Rossignol Alias Sensor 80 Ski Boots are a versatile all-mountain boot with a generous fit for aspiring intermediate to novice skiers. By combining the asymmetrical toe box, versatile-fitting instep and more articulate ankle area, the Alias Sensor 80 delivers a comfortable, forgiving fit without sacrificing powerful, all-mountain performance. Sensor Fit's V-shaped last gets wider in the forefoot to accommodate those hard-to-fit feet and toe box issues, while the heel pocket stays snug to deliver more support and control than other medium and wide boots.
Sensor Fit - All Sensor constructions have a common modern toe box, accommodating instep, and strong heel cup. The generous toe box is asymmetrically shaped to fit normal foot shapes for ultimate comfort and warmth. The instep is extremely versatile, fitting many different instep heights, providing an accurate wrapping.
104 mm Last - In Sensor boots, the bootboard is reinforced in the forefoot to allow 2 points of contact with the Sensor insert. The insert is made of more flexible material to make it more forgiving and more comfortable. The 104 mm internal last offers both support and superb comfort.
Sport Thermo Fit - Every liner is designed for a particular internal last and boot construction. It is shaped to be a perfect match with the inside of the shell, which is especially important in terms of the length of liner in the toe box and heel retention for a precision liner that is comfortable from the moment you put it on.
One-Piece Toe Box - One piece construction keeps the toe box in shape, so there are no painful deformations when you put the boot on. There are no seams on the front of the tongue, and the instep is very shaped and padded. This eliminates pressure points over the toes and instep.

Additional Features
Easy Entry - Notches in the plastic along the instep allow for easy entry and exit without compromising four buckle overlap boot performance.

  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
