Comments about Lange Freeride 130 Ski Boots 2008:

Great super stiff boot for steeps, powder and morning corduroy. You can't beat that price either. They are 130 flex so of course they are hard to get in and out of and if you get the correct size (SMALL AS HELL) they are uncomfortable too, but you can really mock in these. Only real complaint is the elastic velcro strap, strip this and replace with a booster strap and you're good to go.

Comments about Lange Freeride 130 Ski Boots 2008:

I've used the Freerides for a full season now. They seem to be well made and solid. They have a good fit to my feet and are very responsive. I've skied them in powder, hardpack, and bumps...they work great in all terrain. The only "adjustment" I made was to add "C" pads to the outsides of the liners to relieve a little pressure on my inner ankle bones (but the pressure wasn't too bad).

The only weaknesses that I can note are they can be tough to get on and off but I've learned the tricks. They also take about 1/2hr to settle in before I can buckle them to the final position.

Comments about Lange Freeride 130 Ski Boots 2008:

I wear these boots tight from 8:30 to 4:20 without having to unbuckle them during any part of the day. Although rated a 130 flex, my 190 pounds keeps me in the front seat on every type of ski I own. The flex amazes me, as I am cranking down narrow trails, the stiffness doesn't seem drastic, even in 15 below temperatures. No leaks when plowing through late April standing water on trail.

Comments about Lange Freeride 130 Ski Boots 2008:

Bought these boots for my husband. He loves them. Wanted to get a second pair for when these ones wear out in a few years. They were uncomfortable at first he said but once he broke them in (two or three uses) he now loves them. Did get custom footbeds too though. Only issue is that snow can get in through the overlap by the toe.

Comments about Lange Freeride 130 Ski Boots 2008:

These boots are great for high level free riding. The freeride 130 flex is a touch softer than a true 130 should be, but this makes it perfect and forgiving while still being able to ripe hard. Haven;t done any work on them, though might get some punches for next season. Good out of box fit, great padding for drops. Has a large toe box so you can downsze alot without cramping [*] your toes. Got an amazinf price off Evogear! thanks guys

Comments about Lange Freeride 130 Ski Boots 2008:

Seems like a perfect boot for park with a shock absorbing boot board, a stiff flex but long range of motion and rather upright. I'm a mogul skier/coach so it wasn't perfect for me but I can modify it to make it so. I get Langes for free but the price was so low I got them for spares. Boot is a bit heavy, perhaps due to the rubber boot board. I have a lighter pair of Langes but they have hardly any padding and hurt! and could use more forward lean (for me). The power strap is designed to flex which makes the boot feel too soft but some folks might like it. I put a non flexing strap on and it felt better. I'll probably take out the rubber boot boards and replace them with lighter foam ones and put in something to create more forward lean.
