I am a bit wary of purchasing ski boots without trying them on first, but with the price I paid, I figured I couldn't lose. Lange boots are known for a low volume, narrower fit, and I found that these boots fit that description. I have an average width foot, but have bunion issues, and I found that there were pressure points in these areas. I only had the chance to use them twice this season, and did find that as the liners packed out, the pressure points improved somewhat.

The stock insoles are pretty flimsy -- I replaced them with some insoles with some arch support.

I found that the boots are extremely difficult to put on. I really have to pull the tongue out at an extreme angle to wiggle my foot in -- and this is with warm, room temperature boots and thin socks.

Otherwise, I found the boots to hold my feet in very well, and as a result, they were quite responsive. Good amount of flex, did not feel too stiff.

Good boots. Could use a thermo type inner boot for more warmth and padding. The down allows rub spots at the ankle in extreme skiing. They're also unforgiving on feet with a high transverse arch (over the top of the foot). For the price, they get the job done.

This 2009 boot fit smaller than the 2011 that I tried on in the store so I ended up having to buy the next size larger.

Only used once so far on the Mt. Nice stiff, responsive boot. The top of my left foot was so sore by the end of the day, maybe just needs to be broken in a bit... But I'm stoked to go up and try them some more before the season ends!!!

Pros: These boots fit so well, I barely have to break them in. The gel tongue is amazing, you can ski in these boots all day and they don't hurt your shins.
Cons: They do seem a tad small (compared to my other boots) and my big toe is touching the front of the boot a bit. Also, I am not too sure what is with the flex of the boot: it doesn't seem to feel too stiff even it says the flex is 100. I have a pair of Salomon Idol 8 (flex 80) and Dalbello Mantis 10 (flex 85) and they both feel stiffer than this. I have only skied twice with these boots; maybe I have not quite done with adjusting the buckles to give me the true flex...

When I saw that these were on sale for much less than any other ski boots, I have to admit I was skeptical. But, I figured with free shipping and the option to return or exchange, it was worth a shot. I am so glad I ordered these boots. They have a lush, warm lining and awesome cushioning in the shin area. I am a beginner, so I don't know a lot about ski boots, but even my husband who has been skiing for about 15 years was impressed by the quality of this product.

I'd recommend these boots for other beginners - they are much more comfortable than the rentals I have used before, and essentially they'll pay for themselves after a few uses.

Just wanted to comment after skiing in these boots that they were great performers in all conditions, more technical performance on the bumps and ice. They perform like my trusted old Lange's but have the comfort of the shin shock absorber (awesome) and fuzzy warm lining and stiffer hinge. I ordered a full size small in order to achieve more contol.

I would say that this boots is great for the more advance skiier or if you have a narrow foot. I like the fact that the boot is hard to get on and that the fit is tight (increases response on the ski) and understand that I'll need to take a couple of Advil at the end of the day. This boot did not pinch or cut off circulation and broke in well. Didn't tighten clasps at all the first day and made small adjustment as it broke in. It is tight on the top of the ankle but I adjusted that by moving the tounge as needed for comfort. I see that others made adjustments for personal fit on the feedback, that helped me.

Great looking boot! It is much more sparkly/metallic than the photo represents.

These boots are really great. They are nice and stiff to really take the sharp turns. I like the look and the fur inside to help with the comfort!

This boot felt good right out of the box. I wear a size 8 but ordered a 7.5 and it feels just right. The narrow tongue rubs just a bit on the top of my foot, but is a simple fix with a boot fitter. I upgraded from a 75 flex to a 100 flex boot and am amazed by the responsiveness of a stiffer boot. Thank you Lange for another great boot.

I own an older version of this model (older then 2009) and liked the boots. I was in need of a second pair-I found these on Evo, the price was right, so I ordered a pair. When they arrived I found the liner to be more cushioned and fuzzy then my older model. There is cushioning on the tongue flap where the boot usually bangs your shin. Very comfy boot and performs well. I liked them so much I ordered another pair . Only draw back is I have to figure out how to adjust the buckles tighter

Got these boots because they were [$]--I took a gamble on them and am glad I did. They came with the sorriest excuse for footbeds I've ever seen, so plan on getting your own. I have a wide foot so Lange may not have been the best choice for me, but after blowing out the shell they're much more comfortable. I am an aggressive skier but they've felt stiff enough for everything I've skied so far--groomers, bumps, crud, and fluff. Great boot for a great price!

This is my second pair of Lange Exclusives and I cannot imagine purchasing anything different. I got a pair with 70 flex back in 2008 when I first started skiing. Four years later and a upgrade was long overdue. However, I was so happy with the fit and warmth of my old boots that I just had to have Lange Exclusives in a stiffer material. Christmas money + sale on 3 yo model = dreams come true. I ski in super thin SmartWool socks w/ no padding and my feet are always warm and secure because of the plush lining in these boots.
I don't see it as a con but they are not the easiest on/off boots, there is a fair amount of wriggling in and shuffling about once inside to get comfy. But since I typically only perform this task once a day, that is a small price to pay for top notch fit. Seriously, my boyfriend spent a TON of money to get custom fit boots and he and I would both say that I am happier with my boots than he is with his.
It is worth noting that I HATE the inserts in my old boots and imagine I would HATE these as well. I have tried skiing with them in twice and both times tugged my boots off on the mountain to remove the little buggers. These boots are relatively low volume to begin with and the "women specific" inserts that boost your heel and tilt you forward are a) unnecessary imho, and b) take up a considerable amount of precious precious volume. But these are optional inserts and easily put in and taken out so whatever works for you I guess.

I bought these for my grandaugher for Christmas. She took them down the slope once and had to take them off. I bought the correct size but even thought she has a narrow foot, these boots were way too narrow. Called evo, not returnable because she had worn them once for a half hr. Now she has no boots and Grandma has no money

I am a huge fan of Lange products because I expect a lot of performance out of my boots and I have a slightly narrow foot. I wear a women's true size 7 and thought about buying a size down (mondo 23.5) but chose the 24 because it was the last one. Fit is perfect and once I clicked in and jumped in the boot I could have gone smaller but not necessary. The fit around the toe, foot ankle and boot are the best I've experienced yet. The shin is built for all day skiing. I walked around in them for about an hour and no pinching or circulation problems. Can't wait to see how they react on the hill...I know they are going to be great. Amazing deal! Adjustments are a breeze.

If you have narrow feet and love to ski - this boot is made for you! 1st trip out was fabulous! No pressure points, feet very comfortable, and 2 friends wanted to buy these boots because they look so great...and the down quilting liner/fuzzy top added the "wow" factor. You can never go wrong with Lange!

Great boot although I had to remove the inner sole since it was reducing the size of the boot to act more like a smaller size. Pretty stiff but sometimes your foot slides in tough conditions
