Just got this boot delivered the other day so this review is my out of the box impression.

This is definitely a no frills race boot, no bells or whistles, thin liner. I love the shape of the last, it fits my foot perfectly. It is snug, but the toe box actually has just enough room. Another thing I like is the inside ankle pocket. Someone finally got smart and figured out a narrow fitting race boot is painful on the ankles. This boot has a nice ankle pocket already incorporated in the liner. The flex is powerful and precise.

One thing I did already was remove the velcro strap and put on my booster. The original was bolted (not riveted) on so adding the booster using the bolt is easy. Fit is narrow, 97 last and true to size. I wear a 10 street shoe, the 27.0 boot fits perfectly. Slightly wider feet try the Banshee, wider still try the Fluid.

Overall impression is A+. Super snug race fit in all the right places, a perfect anatomical fit combined with a smooth powerful flex at a great price. Plus it's a Lange race boot that's not baby blue. What more could anyone want?

After using this boot I have a few more comments. It is very stiff compared to what I first thought, especially when cold. I did remove both bolts in the back and did some grinding. Problem solved. I also had to have the ankles punched. Good fit there now. A boot like this you can expect to need some modifications.

This is a very high performance boot. It is not a cushy Cadillac, but a racey Ferrari. Once you get the fit dialed in, you can be comfortable in them all day. Putting them on your foot is like slipping into a Recaro seat, tight and firm, but comfortable.

I am now very happy with them and SO glad I am out of my miserable Technica Alu Comps! These boots are a perfect match for a super fast GS ski smoking a race course.

I purchased th boots because I was looking for a more confortable boot with a even flex.
But I struggle to get them tight enough to get consistance support.
