With a slightly medium, stiff 90 flex rating and a narrow 98mm forefoot width, the Lange Banshee W Ski Boots are perfect for intermediate to advanced female skiers who feel comfortable skiing varied terrain and changing conditions.

        These are a very well made boot for an excellent deal! These boots take a couple trips to the mountain to get broken in, but once they are broken in they are a wonderful boot. Very well made with a gel tongue to provide less schin bang, and a soft down filling for those colder days. These are a stiff boot, probably not for a beginner.

        Overall comfortable and well-performing boot. The only issue is that the back of the boot comes up very high - too high - unless the wearer is very tall and has small calves. For a shorter gal with well developed calves - it is pretty darn tight.

          I ski about fifty days a year. I have been on a pair of banshees that i have loved since about 1997. So i needed a new pair. I am thrilled to say that this boot was a seamless transition from the old pair. They are far easier to get in and out of and they are more comfortable. But they perform. They are

              I ordered a Women's 6.5. When I got the boots (in a timely fashion, BTW), the box said the size was 5.5. Bummed me out momentarily, but I read another review that said they were men's sizing, so 5.5 is 6.5 in women's. So the tag on the boot says 5.5 / 38.5. So, okay, a 5.5 is 6.5 for women, but a 38.5 is a MEN'S 6.5 ... the bottom of the boot says 5. So I try them on, and I believe they are about a WOMEN'S 6.5! So I'm keeping them, because they feel good, and seem to be great boots at an awesome price. Haven't used them yet, as I just got them today, so I can't give 5 stars yet :-)
