Very solid boot. A bit stiffer than my old pair - I'll ski everywhere on the mountain without being a superstar, and I found the extra stiffness to be a help rather than a hindrance (ie it's not so stiff you won't be able to move it). I'm about 5'11, 185lbs
Toe box was a bit narrower than my previous pair - I was initially concerned about this, but once I got out on the hill, it wasn't a problem. If anything, the boot was probably more responsive.
Only comment would be that entry/exit is a little tricky, but this is an extra 90 seconds in an 8-hour ski day - it doesn't move the needle in terms of whether you want to buy this boot.

After having snowboarded for the last 15 years with an early youth full of skiing, I decided to return to the 2 planks. I consider myself an expert snowboarder and wanted ski equipment comparable to what I had used with my board- stiff, light, all mountain/mix-piste gear. It took a few days to break them in and while I'm sure there's a few more days of early morning pain to endure I must say these boots rock. I can dig into turns and edge effortlessly. They have really given me the confidence I needed to get back into skiing. Paired along side Volkl Mantra 184s I'm totally pscyched to be skiing again!

Great boot for the advanced skier who wants a close fit that while remaining comfortable and warm. Like all front entries, it is is not the easies of boots to get into or out of, but it is worth the effort! Think of this as a Ferrari, one you get into the drivers seat you are rewarded with performance!

All mountain performance. I have a wide foot and the 98 toe box is a tight fit, this is a race inspired boot, tight fit and not much padding around the foot, but the shell fits well. Lots of padding for shin, very comfortable. It has a rubber foot bed under the liner which protects the heel only on hard landings. Flex is comfortable and good all round stiff yet forgiving. Experts and more advanced may what a stiffer boot at times, but this boot does well in powder, packed powder, crud and very hard pack. Good all mountain boot, comfortable; but you will not get thick socks on if you have a wide foot. I use a light sock and stay warm in very cold conditions. If you have a very wide foot and are cold blooded this may not be a good choice for you. If you want a precision fit and all day comfort check it out, lots of room for large calf muscels as well. Very little padding around fore-foot, in toe box.

THE BOOTS FITS HEAVIER THEN OTHERS, HARD TO GET ON, BUT AFTER YOU BREAK IN ITS GOOD! GREAT PRICE GOOD STYLE!

use it for racing and feel very comfortable with it.
i put lace on top part of the liner(lace holder are part on the liner already)
not that easy to go in
