Product Info

Full Tilt Konflict Ski Boots 2013: The Full Tilt Konflict Ski Boots are high performance freeride boots with the power, responsiveness and versatility needed to tackle all conditions, anywhere on the mountain. Their legendary Original shell gives them a unique light and nimble close-to-the-snow feel complimented by a powerful, responsive 8 flex, 7 rib tongue and active rubber boot board for extra shock and vibration absorption. The high performance Quick-Fit™ Pro Liner with Intuition® foam molds to your feet and transfers the most energy to the shell for precise control no matter what the mountain throws at you.

Product Details

Flex

Flex Rating – 8 (1 Softest – 10 Stiffest)

A freeride directed 7 ribbed tongue provides a natural linear flex for your foot that eliminate shin banging. This natural flex is made with a free hinging rear cuff that never bottoms out. Full Tilt tongues are inter-changeable; making it simple enough to swap flexes on-the-fly (extra tongues sold separately). This design also provides even pressure throughout due to the cables that work just like your favorite shoelaces.

Materials

Full Tilt boots are up to 2lbs/900g lighter per pair than other boots due to a minimalistic shell that contains no overlapping plastic or bolts. The thinner plastic also increases the feel and responsiveness, making these boots much quicker than other pairs.

Liner

The Quick Fit™ Pro Liner is Full Tilt’s highest performance moldable liner.

J-Bars create powerful internal ankle hold down.

7mm High Density Intuition® Foam: this closed cell foam is made to transfer power and energy to the shell and is body heat activated to mold 100% to your feet and shell during use or can be instantly heat molded by a shop in minutes.

Powerwrap adds an additional layer of ergonomically shaped High Density Intuition® Foam to wrap around the outside of the upper liner, providing added energy transfer and horsepower to the shell

Stance

99 mm Width Last is very narrow from heel to toe, designed for people with straight and narrow feet

Full Tilt Original 3-Piece Shell Design is a living legend that Full Tilt has the honor of bringing back to life each year in its original form.

Additional Features

Easy On and Off with tongues that open like convertibles and will never block your foot.

Active Bootboard rubber absorbs vibration and shock off Seth size airs.

Aluminum ratchet buckles are made for durable on-the-fly micro adjustments.

3 Cable closure eliminates deadspots for a smooth even pressure fit.

Comments about Full Tilt Konflict Ski Boots 2013:

Take about 15 minutes to learn all of the adjustments before you head out to the slopes. All adjustments are easy enough, but beware that it is virtually impossible to adjust the micro buckle adjustments on the fly without removing your gloves. Otherwise, perfect boot. Fits comfortably to wear all day with little adjustment once the liners heat up.

Great boot for someone that wants more support in the tongue being an 8 flex. Personally like a stiffer boot.

Comments about Full Tilt Konflict Ski Boots 2013:

I love full tilt boots especially these ones because of the stiff flex that feels more responsive than the wallischs. The only problems with these boots is full tilt needs to update their buckle system so that they can be used more easily with gloves or mittens on. Also, need to buy some soles for mine since i have high arches. Other than that these are warm, comfortable boots and with a booster strap there is legit no shin bang

love the micro adjustment buckles, and how the power strap is wrapped on the shell not the boot liner!
Buckles are low profile, so they don't snag up on branches!

Comments about Full Tilt Konflict Ski Boots 2013:

I have only had a few days on the hill with these boots, but they are great. Super comfy from the moment I put them on. I tried on a pair of FTs at a local shop to get the sizing dialed, then got a great deal on evo.com. Stiff enough without being too stiff. Super easy to get on and off, and warm. I am a Ski Instructor, and I can't wait to use these boots a lot this season.
