I switched to Full Tilt over a year ago from various pair of Salomon. After multiple damage to my right ankle throughout the years, I found the entry system of Full Tilt to be perfect for me. The 3 piece system is one of a kind, and it works so well. I primarily run powder in Colorado, Wyoming, but it serves well in any condition. It's an all terrain boot that really allows you to feel the snow, good response. If looking to ski really hard, I would say look at the high five's big brother, the konflict (stiffer) and seems to absorb impact a little bit better than the high five.

I own a pair of 2009's, which I like much better in terms of design vs. 2010. Also, some full tilts have a cable cover which should be standard on all there boots. The cables never become tangled or anything, but the cover keeps a things a little more polished. All in all, if your riding twin tips look at full tilt, whatever model. Full tilt is a ski boot company. When efforts aren't compromised on other things (skis, bindings, snowboarding), you get sole attention to what in the end is a leader in its specialty.

I've skied these boots about 25 days this season in all sorts of conditions. Great boot comfort wise but with that being said they were lacking in terms of performance. It wasn't enough boot to drive my 189 4FRNT VCT's. I tried adding a stiffer tongue but even with the decrease in flex the boot still just wasn't working. Again extremely comfortable but with that comfort they give up some performance.

Comments about Full Tilt High Five Ski Boots 2009:

Super easy to take on/off. Very lightweight, makes changing direction much easier & quicker. Fit out of the box felt tight and pinchy in spots. Wouldn't recommend wearing them without heat-molding the liners. Once I did, all the fit issues went away and the boots were very snug but supportive all over. The only problem, for me, is the supplied tongue's flex is a bit too soft. planning on trying a stiffer one.

Comments about Full Tilt High Five Ski Boots 2009:

This boot is amazing for the park. The flex is great and gives you more control than any other boot I have tried. The largest downside is also the flex. I really enjoy dropping cliffs and this is just not a sturdy enough boot for that job.

Comments about Full Tilt High Five Ski Boots 2009:

Full tilts are the best boots you'll find. I wish I would have found these earlier. They are the lightest boots on the market, but still have great support. No shin bang, because of the 3 piece design they are super comfy. People say full tilts are only for people with narrow feet but I'd have to disagree, my feet are average if not wider than some. Thanks to evogear I got my full tilts cheaper than anywhere else I found by far.

I am a park skier and this boot is amazing! It has cured my problems with shin and toe bang. This boot is a 6 on the flex index indicating it is an average flex. I couldn't imagine what a boot with more flex would be like!

A very good boot really comfortable. I rarely ever get shin bang or toe bang. Be sure you get sized first at a shop because not every ones feet are narrow enough and they are terrible when they are to big. Be sure to heat mold them also because it makes them so much more comfortable. But overall a really good boot.

So I've been skiing for 13 years in Utah, and up until now I was skiing on a pair of old Nordica boots that I bought for 50 bucks. This year, I saved up and totally revamped my gear, and after using these boots, there's no other that I'll ever use. They are super warm, and really really comfy. I haven't had shin bang since I started using them. They are also really stable for big landings, because of the active rubber on the bottom that reduces shock. Hands down, my favorite boots ever!
