Comments about Atomic Waymaker Carbon 130 Ski Boots 2016:

My teaching boots, that turned into a pet project; I've got about 40 on snow hours in these boots so far, and the more I wear them, the more I love them. I've got a couple pair of boots that have been fitted (by Jim Mates in the Seattle area) and this boot is coming close to being just as comfortable.
If you were to measure the width of my feet to the 5th metatarsal, I'm about 115mm across. I was worried the live-fit would end up being a hot spot and I'm glad to report I was wrong, I barely notice that my 5th-metatarsal is pushing right up on the flexy live fit zone. I've also got cant inserts under the custom footbed that raises the top of my feet/instep right to the shell...wow, I accidentally made these boots fit like gloves. I've also got a narrow heel but no issues with heel lift, I'll keep you posted.
Walk mode is simply awesome, nothing complicated and offers up at least 25' of additional rearward flex.
The power strap is like a third buckle, love it. Fantastic fit across the shin gives me awesome feel and energy transfer. I can never go back to velco straps.
Yes, these feel like a 130 flex, easily stiffer than my Head Vector Evo 120s.
I normally don't like to give out 5* ratings, but I'm having a hard time finding any fault with these boots. they do everything I ask of them.

Comments about Atomic Waymaker Carbon 130 Ski Boots 2016:

I mainly ski at resorts but get a couple days in the backcountry each year. These boots don't lose any stiffness because of the walk mode and feel like 130. There's also the pleasant surprise that they are super light. The walk mode and loosening the buckles allow for a wide range of motion. I haven't found anything wrong with this boot yet.

Comments about Atomic Waymaker Carbon 130 Ski Boots 2016:

These boots are incredible. Lightweight, and strong.

I had tried about 10 pairs of boots before finding this gem. I have small calves and a wide foot so the trunk of the boot fits very snug around my shin and the live fit foot area is perfect for my feet. Oh and the thinsulate liner kept my toes warm all day in the backcountry.

Paired with a booster strap, this boot drives like a sports car through all snow conditions from ripping groomers to landing cliff hucks, I'm keeping this boot forever.
