Comments about Atomic Burner 120 Ski Boots 2012:

I'm very happy with the performance of this boot...very stiff, I can't crush them. Power transfer and control is awesome. That being said, they are not comfortable boots to wear day after day, and they are very very narrow (and I have narrow feet). Also left them in my car overnight at below zero temps and they got so stiff it took me 20 minutes to put them on, thought I was gonna break my ankles. But they are a very high performance boot so that's expected. All the adjustments are great to have, though I might have some boot fitting done. I was hoping they would be warmer especially considering the nice thick liner - then again the cold might just be a result of my circulation getting cut off...

Comments about Atomic Burner 120 Ski Boots 2012:

A boot that does what you want it to and also a little bit more, without it being scary. It transfers the power very nicely from the leg/foot down into the ski, which makes great groomer turns and powder control.
The boot really is snug (I have a wider foot), but the folks at Evo say it can be widened quite a bit. The circulation in my toes are cut off (numb toes), but I have yet to figure out if this will result in unbearable pain when the temperatures are sub-zero. Might have to take them in and do some custom fitting.
The stiff boot keeps you charging forward, the heel cap is extremely tight, and the padding down the front side of the leg is fabulous, so it's def. a boot made for SKIING!

Comments about Atomic Burner 120 Ski Boots 2012:

How to describe? I thought 120's might be too stiff coming from a really beat boot, but I really love this flex. Its a comfortable boot and makes the ski scream for mercy; that stiffness really communicates to the ski and maximizes carve and edge. I find you can just point it with these boots and plow through inconsistencies in the snow where I might have been thrown before. The fit is spot on for foot size. There might be a bit too much room in the toe box for my foot; better foot beds would help here. My heel however is firmly locked in place, and the boots have all day comfort. I love love the very narrow profile; way easier to keep the skiis close a la francaise.
What else? I dig the color and the camo look. The construction is flawless; the freakin power straps are made of leather! The handles on the liner make it very easy to get in and out of the boot.
Finally, evo makes it easy to test out sizes. Order a couple, send back the one you don't want.
        So glad I bought these.

Comments about Atomic Burner 120 Ski Boots 2012:

There is much to like about this boot. It is well made, I like how it looks, it fit my narrow foot very well, and it is high performance. For me (50 yrs, 6-2, 180lb.), however, the forward lean is too much. It would fry my legs. The lean angle is supposed to be adjustable, but this just means you can remove a plastic-and-Velcro spoiler, which is located in the back of the boot. This doesn't do much: you have to lean forward the same amount to load the boot with or without the spoiler. It would allow you to stand up straighter in the lift line, but that's about it. This would be a good one to consider for someone with strong legs.

First off the construction, fit ,and finish of these boots are amazing. The boot itself is very slim not bulky and hugs your foot/ankle very well. Atomic makes great products and these boots are definitely a example.
