Rossignol Axial2 140 XXL Ski Bindings (120mm Brakes) 2012: The high performance Rossignol Axial2 140 XXL Ski Bindings come with a 120mm brake perfect for fat skis. With 25mm of elastic travel, the heelpiece provides the longest travel of any binding on the market and further prevents unwanted pre-release. This binding is perfect for serious all-mountain skiers.
Toe Piece
180 degree multi-directional release capabilities aid release; high vertical and lateral elastic travel provide shock absorption and help reduce inadvertent release; 45mm lateral travel.
Heel Piece
25mm of elastic travel, the longest of any binding on the market, reduces unwanted pre-releasing.
Recommended Use
Advanced/Expert skiers
DIN range 4-14
120mm brake is good for fat skis
Compatibility
We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15 mm wider.
Construction
Toe - Four points of contact with the boot provide maximum power transmission; reinforced housing increases binding integrity; wide mounting zone for better contact with wide skis.
Heel - Strong power transmission due to angled lateral arms; high forward pressure improves ski rebound and responsiveness; wide mounting zone for better contact with wide skis.
