Rossignol Axial 200 Freeski XXL Ski Bindings (120mm Brakes) 2010: Burly, beefy, and brodacious binders; the Rossignol Axial 200 Freeski XXL Ski Bindings are bullet proof to the max. With a vertical heel and dual-action race toe, the Axial 200 won’t let you go on even the biggest of hits whether you’re landing forward, backwards, sideways…on your head. Heavy duty steel construction will ensure that these will take whatever punishment you give them.
Special Features
Solid Teflon Anti-Friction Device (AFD) creates a more positive interface between boot and binding. The increased friction of the wide AFD helps you stay in your binding.
The 200 binding has the widest screw patterns in the industry, which is a performance-enhancing tool for wider skis.
The wide AFD provides more leverage on wider skis.
Compatibility
We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15mm wider.
Construction
The heel piece of the Axial 200 Freeski is the metal Axial 2 Short Track Race Heel that is durable and tough so it can take serious punishment from twisted take-offs and hard landings.
Dual-action race toe uses a reinforced metal housing to bump up the structural integrity of the binding.
25mm of vertical heel travel and 45mm of lateral toe travel is the highest elastic travel around.
Recommended use
Freeride, freestyle, and big mountain

Comments about Rossignol Axial 200 Freeski XXL Ski Bindings (120mm Brakes) 2010:

These bindings were a steal for the quality product that they are. Some of my past rossignol bindings have felt a little cheap but these certainly have a quality feeling and constuction. They are bomb proof and with the larger range of din settings you can easily find a good fit for your style of skiing.

Comments about Rossignol Axial 200 Freeski XXL Ski Bindings (120mm Brakes) 2010:

I tried my new bindings on my new powder skis. I noticed the skis were much heavier than before having the bindings on them. I like to ski hard and fast. I had a few falls. I never ejected from the bindings, which was nice, but it makes me wonder if they might be too tight or dangerous. I put on my old skis and popped out of the binding on a fall. The DIN setting on those is lower. They seem to be quality bindings. Look nice.

          The bindings were good-
          easy to step into
          durable
and stayed on my foot tightly
          However...
Very heavy and after awhile you can feel it from a lot energy spent on trying to turn
