The Squire is great for every-day skiing. It's lightweight construction is great for riders who don't weigh over 140lbs. It's ideal for teens who aren't skiing in the park, female alpine skiers, or lighter weight adult male skiers. I just recently skied this binding on a ski that was 20cm shorter than I normally ski and the ski was extremely lightweight. It handled me (155lbs, 5'8") pushing it to the speed limit of the ski on a fast groomer day. This binding is not built for those who are skiing park and are my size. They work fine in the park for skiers under 110lbs. who aren't beating up their bindings daily. I recommend this binding to anyone who is looking for a lightweight, easy to use binding who skis all of the mountain, minus the park.

I bought a set of these at a local ski shop because it was recommended for my size according to them (I'm around 6 foot and weigh 155). A couple days into my first season on them I let a first time skier try my skis down the mountain and a brake blew right through the bottom of the binding because he fell on the bunny hill, it's the start of the season right now and when trying to clip back into the ski the rest of the brake and the plastic plate it connects to just fell apart, keep in mind I skied normal slopes and hit some extremely small jumps and a backyard rail on these. I was pretty disappointed seeing as it was my first set of park skis and the bindings broke my first season

Comments about Marker Squire Ski Bindings 2016:

Very solid bindings, easy to get in and out of regardless of how much snow I had piled on them. The rollers on the front make the front entry a breeze and I always felt secure in them. High quality and good for the money.

Comments about Marker Squire Ski Bindings 2016:

These bindings have been good to me for many years. I'm not a park skier, but I am a 6'0" 165lbs adult that spends the day skiing double-blacks more aggressively than many people I see out there. I'll frequently get a little air, maybe 3-5ft high, but I only rarely jump more than about 5 ft off the ground. I've been skiing these bindings for about eight year and they've held up well. I started as an intermediate skier and I've now progressed to an expert skier. I'll be upgrading to a pair of Griffon's for my new skis, but I haven't had any problems with the Squire's. They're inexpensive and work great for the price.

Comments about Marker Squire Ski Bindings 2016:

Unfortunately, I made a mistake when ordering these, and they ended up being incompatible with my skis (K2 Superglide 2013 model). However, the ski shop that I tried to get them mounted had nothing but praise for these bindings. They were their most popular product and they kept getting rave reviews from a wide range of skiiers (beginners to advanced). I just wish there was a bit more description about what kind of ski they're compatible with.

I bought these for my wife for Christmas with a pair of TSTw's and she really likes them. They are super lightweight which makes the skis (which are pretty light themselves) easy to turn and carry. She can still drive the skis hard with out any control issues and has no complaints of pre-releasing. She had a pair of Salomon bindings on her previous skis (Atomics) and she much prefers these bindings to her old ones.
