Comments about Marker Squire Schizo Ski Bindings 2014:

The adjustability and lightweight were the reasons I chose the Marker Squire Schizo. I would not recommend these for heavy or highly aggressive skiers as the lightweight construction may not hold up to the abuse that would be better suited to the Marker Jester and Griffon. (Note, I have no particular allegiance to Marker) I had them mounted on 164 cm Rossignol Soul 7's and got to ski one day at Killington in spring conditions. (frozen granular softening to corn during the day.) I immediately noticed the light weight when compared to the same ski which I rented a few days before that had heavy rental bindings. Starting skiing at the neutral binding position, I moved the binding forward 3 cm as we were skiing mostly in the bumps. The forward position made the wide skis perform wonderfully in the moguls, easier to swing around than in the neutral position. I haven't tried them in deep powder or packed powder groomers. Next season. I am confident the Schizo's will bring out all the attributes of the Soul 7's in all conditions. Or any ski for that matter. Can't wait to adjust them backward 2-3cm and try them in the deep pow. Why don't the make all bindings user adjustable forward and backward ? I gave four stars because I have to wait for next season to try them in the deep powder. I don't know how they would perform in a release situation.

Comments about Marker Squire Schizo Ski Bindings 2014:

Great looking binding... Wasn't a fan of one being a different color than the other, but it grew on me -- they look sharp! Construction is pretty nice even though they're at the lower end of Marker's "Royal Family." I've heard of people having issues with durability, but I only weigh 115 lbs, so I've had no issues and expect none. My only complaint would be that the din setting windows are very compact, so proportionally if you're off what looks like a smaller amount, it's probably a larger amount than it seems. If you just stick with solid numbers though, it doesn't matter. That, and the fact that the keychain tool for changing the lie of the bindings isn't very durable... It's plastic and gets chewed up easily. But the bindings themsves are good... Great value and construction!

Comments about Marker Squire Schizo Ski Bindings 2014:

Loved the look and feel of the bindings on my afterbangs! However, second day using them in the park I snapped the screw that holds the back binding to the track clean off doing a hand drag 3. Very dissapointed that a main component could break so easily. Ruined my day on the hill and had to go get another screw for the bindings. If using in the park I would get the regular squires without the track system
