I bought the squire 2012 bindings two years ago (this upcoming year will be my third year). After the first use I thought the bindings were great. They entered easy, didn't release when I didn't want it too, and were light weight. By the end of the season I started noticing a couple of early releases. I weigh 168lbs and ski hard. By the end of my second season the bindings are almost impossible to easily enter and release VERY, VERY easy, even with the din set high. These bindings seem like a good deal, but after two or three seasons of skiing, the poor plastic construction will start to weaken and the only good thing they will be useful for is its lack of weight.

I would not recommend these bindings to anyone.

Good for use with wider downhill skis. These were recommend by the people I got my skis from. Havent used this particular binding on the skis yet cuz just got them this summer but this type of binding was on the skis being demoed that day on the hill. People seemed to really like it so I decided to buy them to put on mine. They are for my ability level and are light weight which is a plus.

Got these bindings at a great price and they look good on the Scott Mission skis I previously purchased (from EVO, again at a great price!). Our long Minnesota winter ended before I could try out my new purchases but look forward to the next ski season - but not too soon.

Comments about Marker Squire Ski Bindings 2014:

The lightweight of these bindings was important to me. I was searching for a skiing setup that was lightweight for making quick, sharp turns in mogul fields. These bindings in combination with the new liteweight Shreditor 169 All Mountain Rocker skis have allowed me to ski moguls better than I ever have! I am 71, 6'1" tall, 190# and these bindings have never released unexpectedly. I feel I made the best possible choice of equipment and EVO was the best place to purchase them, so save yourself some time and look no further!

Comments about Marker Squire Ski Bindings 2014:

These bindings are good for intermediate skiers that are just getting good at rails and jumps, but if you're looking to progress further, you want to go with the marker griffons or even further with the jesters. What's wrong with this binding is, over the time I owned these bindings I've broken the breaks three times, and finally for me to stop using them I completely shattered the break holder. So if you want these bindings for big trick and complex rail tricks don't get them, they're just too poorly constructed besides that they look pretty cool.

I bought this pair of bindings as it seems fitting due to lower profile and wider base, suit my 83mm ski waist. My skis are all mountain, lean towards "I love to explore all types of terrain," crowd. Plus Marker goes way back to the 50's, been around a long time, so I trust their product (I googled the history once..)!! It is an awesome interface from boot to ski that you should never over look the importance of GGGRRREAT set of bindings. Your knees are too important to mess up because of lousy bindings!!! Banzai! Oh..nice price tag too, even ski bums can afford a pair :)

Absolutely great product! GET THEM! I ski park (nothing crazy) small jibs and rails, a few kickers but also ski backcountry Vermont. So light it's incredible and look hot. Only thing you can't do is adjust toe but pay some more $ and get the schizo's.

This is a good binding at a nice price. Clicks in with a nice thunk and releases when it is supposed to. My shop that mounted it said it is good for skiers up to 160 lbs so keep that in mind.
